Bel établissement parisien idéalement situé en bord de Seine entre la fontaine Saint-Michel et la cathédrale Notre-Dame. Les patrons, d'origine auvergnate, ont à cœur de servir une excellente cuisine élaborée sur place et à base de produits frais et de saison. Absolument tout ce que vous dégusterez ici est réalisé dans les cuisines du restaurant. Le personnel est efficace et professionnel. Un endroit vraiment agréable.

This cafe is much nicer than I thought. I always walked past it, and by looking at it from outside, I never found it enticing, instead too crowded and dirty. Well, well, once inside, it was warm, clean and quite classy, and importantly not crowded! We ordered two desserts and sweet wine to accompany them. In terms of service, it was appropriate but there was something missing, perhaps because all waiters are male. Or is it the traditional Parisian way? Toilets are downstairs, by the way.

Located in front of the Saint-michel fountain, and with a summer terrace far too close to the Parisian traffic, this brasserie offers a simple kitchen (seee simpliste) to the busy tourists. the menu alternates between snacks (crunch-monsieur, omelettes, quiches) and resto(saumon à l'oseille, bavette, voir escargots) with perfectly insipid dishes. However, the service (a little slow) is pretty good, and, really cordial. Finally this establishment summarily fills its function of feeding tourists with French cuisine factice. it is best to sink into the nearby Latin Quarter to experiment with a more bobo but equally factic French cuisine. price level is correct according to the ball criteria View menu
