"very good stay for my last night before Mont-Saint-Michel on the itinerary of the veloscenie. warm welcome, bicycle sheltered in a garage with a rack. I was generously offered a comfortable room overlooking the hotel garden in order to have less noise at night. clean and comfortable room. high-end dinner with two choice formulas E/P/D or E/P or P/D, fine slow working products and very nice plate that justifies the price. a rich and well-stocked breakfast buffet! For one night on the bladder I recommend it to you!"

"Temps d'attente très long . Personnel pas très agréable sans parler de la patronne. Ne savent pas gérer plusieurs commande en même temps,tout est toujours compliqué. Pour les pyzza à emporter pas le choix de l'horaire soit très tôt ou alors très tard pas de juste milieu. Ce n'est plus l'anacapri d'avant,elles sont loin c'est années là... Bon dans tout ça les pyzza sont bonne."

"I have no idea what the service price is. However, when we move for work and for the hotel of the week, I can make sure that's also the best time we've had. We reach the rooms by a central corridor. Spacious rooms, a sat entrance with lots of useful storages, overlooking the bathroom with Italian shower including the tv wc suspended on the wall of the bed foot, electric sockets on each side of the separated beds. Inaudible circulation of the room, even by opening the window. A big pillow accompanies a little one on which I spent a perfect night. the hotel has a swimming pool and a large terrace. Room and table service is perfect, the meal is of very good quality. buffet entrance and desserts are excellent. In the morning, the buffet breakfast is full, I even had a very special attention, my stay falling on the day of my birthday, a small plate of almond pate served at the time of dessert. I didn't see anything else, thank you! I'm used to point out positive points, but I'm rarely so laudable. This establishment deserves it. only and only point that is not positive: the mattresses seem very narrow compared to other single beds, having in no case spoiled my night again thanks to you."

"Walking into a new restaurant for the first time you don't really expect to be greeted with handshakes from ALL of the staff but that's the way it is at Chez Agnes. To say that you will receive a warm welcome is an understatement. Instantly, you feel valued as a customer and very much at ease.There are few frills in this establishment, though it is a very nice place. It would appear to be open only for lunch and the menu complet consists of a cold starter, a hot middle course, a main course, cheese, dessert and coffee - and all for the modest price of just 14 euros 50. Oh, and a bottle of wine or cider is thrown in for good measure.There is something for most palates here. The waiter arrives with some 6/8 cold starters on a tray and you simply choose the one you want. He then offers 3/4 hot middle courses and some 4/5 main courses and you place your order. The meat options, like steaks, are cooked over an open fire in the room.On a Monday lunchtime the place was pretty busy with all sorts of people from expat residents, locals and workers on their breaks. We were advised by the gite owner who recommended the place that we should probably book in advance or get there early. The restaurant is buried out of sight in a little village that you would never come across by chance so you really do need to either live thereabouts or be recommended, as we were.If you find yourself in the area of St. Hilaire du Harcouet make it your business to seek this place out. Truly French, truly welcoming, truly great value for money and truly great quality."
