"Yes, there are several bakeries among which to choose less than 2 blocks from this small café. but their smiling service and their very good breakfasts make it a number one for me! I stay at the corner of the street for the month of August and every morning I look for a coffee and many nights I need a baguette when I'm too tired to get out. this place has the best coffee cream and very good croissants. the chopsticks are also excellent; whether you go down the street to paul or go up the street to eric kayser, you will get excellent results. It is more a matter of personal taste and the baguette here at daily bread is at the height. If I have a critique, it's that their menu at the counter is incomplete. It was only after a few visits that I learned that I could have eggs in the hull and scrambled eggs and toasts, etc. they have a second menu with all these things, the first is just to take away, I discovered. I suggest that they combine menus for customers so they can have a larger breakfast clientele, especially during the tourist season. and maybe announce their delicious breakfast choice on their black paintings. Stay away from this place. There are so many wonderful places to eat betting. I ordered a combo of soup, tartine and green salad. Tomato and paprika soup was simply passable, but warm. the tartine had very small fillings on pieces of soft bread. salad leaves were so stale that old pieces of viscous leaves were stuck to the other leaves. Revolting! The staff was disinterested. When I highlighted the quality of the salad, which I didn't eat, they took 20% off the bill. Not an excuse. Total attitude "do not worry."
