"My husband and I were in a hotel a few steps from the passy and thought about trying it. the outside chairs and the bar were crowded and our first entry into the bistro our presence. There was a young girl who was supposed to take care of both the bar and the bistro and she got mad. She showed us a table at the bottom, there was another couple on the other side of the room. one of the men's staff came out and had a cigarette backed on a car in front of the place we were sitting. We waited at least 10 minutes before the restless waitress came back to us to take our order. His understanding of English was not immediately obvious, so I told him while designating the meal I wanted. she ran to the kitchen to check if they always had it and came back and said yes (it was a calf dish) so we finished our order. the meal was delivered shortly afterwards and was very tasty - except that mine was not calf but salmon. He was wrapped in bacon and when I realized it wasn't veal, I didn't want to try to get the waitress' attention because I watched her run down the bar. another group of 3 local women entered the bistro during our stay and while they were sitting quickly (they seemed to know some staff members), they also waited a good time before their order was taken. We both enjoyed our meals (my husband had a steak and it was cooked as requested) but the service is missing. I don't know if it was due to a lack of staff because there was no explanation from them on the evening of our stay."
