"This was our favourite restaurant while on holiday near Toulouse. It looks unassuming from the outside but don't let that put you off. Amazing food and fantastic service. For starters we had the pigs feet, served in a spring roll type of pastry. It was delicious! Hubby had the classic cassoulet casserole and I had the duck. The duck was tasty and the cassoulet was very hearty, crammed full of meat with a lovely sauce. Dessert was amazing. I had two scoops of vanilla ice cream inside an eclair pastry served with real chantilly cream, top quality chocolate sauce and fresh raspberries. Fantastic! Oh, and the amuse bouche pre starters were yummy too! Basically, everything was delicious!!The server we had spoke pretty good English so no worries about translating the menu or communication. The venue is small so it's best to reserve in advance. We went on a Friday night and managed to get a table without a reservation but it's a bit risky. At approx 30 Euros per person for food drinks it's not cheap, but it's worth it if you value fresh food cooked and presented beautifully, as well as friendly, helpful and professional service. Highly recommend!"

Stopped here for lunch on way to Agen.Very pretty looking typical French restaurant so Sourisdecided to try and translate their chalkboard menu. Result was hilarious and despite assistance of a semi English speaking local we still couldn't understand what we had ordered! The owner/waitress kept saying Souris which we translated as mouse or lips and she made things worse by saying 'like Disney'. Nevertheless we ordered and got an absolutely delicious Pork shank with dauphinoise potatoes, carrots and courgettes.Had to have 3 glasses of wine to stop myself laughing through the meal.Definitely a restaurant to visit if in the area.

The chef always has a sure hand, his dishes are carefully prepared and delight our taste buds and pupils. The waitress, Alesia, provides impeccable service, without ever interfering with conversations but with complete efficiency. I highly recommend foodies to allow this place to continue to exist. A quick word for the elected officials of Saint Jory, the vacant lot next to the restaurant, with the collapsing construction barriers and a jumble worthy of a public dump, is not very welcoming, like the state of the surrounding neighborhood. This environment does not help attract customers, something should have been done a long time ago.
