"Just finished dinner , we had the pate and the lobster bisque as an appetizer. I didn’t taste the soup, the pate was okay. My sister had a “lobster risotto “ , way too much butter, I had the sole , was delicious, for deserts...we had the thin apple tart and the special mille feuille. Apple tart was very good and while I had the mille feuille 2 hours ago , I don’t even remember it ! The service is impeccable, the decor hasn’t changed in over 40 years The specials tonight ranges around 60. each , they definitely put themselves in the top 15% of restaurants and it’s not worth it. I can eat and I do at the Four Seasons or the Mandarin oriental and get better food for the same price or even less . Bottom line, it’s a beautiful restaurant, the staff is impeccable, the food is eatable and the prices are too high for what it is . Same owner, you should try “Chez Philippe” a “nouvelle brasserie look “ it’s not Bernardin in New York but the food is more consistent and the ambiance is younger 60 and under vs. le Patio at 60+"

A good choice for dinner. Wine selection is very good. I suggest to select the set menu. It is sufficient and good.

Delicious lobster option! This place is by the same group as Chez Philippe from chef Philippe Chevrier and as they never disappoint. The lobster risotto was particularly delicious. Desserts are good too. View menu

We spent a pleasant evening on the terrace. We took the 1/2 lobster (2 people). The 2 portions were really small, very little to eat on the lobster. It was more like half a Langoustine. So, for this dish, we remain hungry. However, the server was very professional and very valiant. Very nice wine list and the menu is also interesting.

Very expensive abode unless France is inordinately cheap. Do not agree with the restricted bi-modal menu. Overcelebrated a l'americaine mode. Few people were eating but were enthusiastic and not popular eatery seekers. After all the Boul.Helvetique is away from the scenic, currently deplorable, lake littoral....The shrimps (tiger) with the saffran risotto were very very good, the lobster merely ok, slightly uneasy. The steak passable. The wine selection was more than adequate and their counsel of value. The deserts very good. Taking into account the aestival closures it was an excellent choice. Plenty of space indoors in a red clad chamber (if memory serves)
