"Despite its dramatic name, this café is located next to the National Monument of Sir William Wallace, also known as Braveheart. While not everyone may be familiar with his name, many locals recognize the café as being near the Wallace monument. The prices are not cheap, likely due to the high number of tired and hungry visitors from the monument. However, the quality of the food is good and the recent renovations have made the café more appealing to customers. The menu is focused on baked goods, sweets, soups, and sandwiches, both hot and cold. With its convenient location and the lack of other options in the area, the café is always bustling with customers looking to refuel. Accessible from the street or the visitor center of the monument, it serves as a popular stop for those exploring the area."

Always is a good place for a coffee, for a lunch or for a little rest after Wallace monument. The luxury hot chocolate is incredible for sugar addicts.

beautiful breakfast (gecrambled ei, tomaten, speck bagel) with a large pot tee. very good value in comparison to many other caffes and not many have the additional attraction of the wallace monument, with its breathtaking view.

This coffee house is fantastic! There’s plenty of seating and large windows that let in a lot of natural light. The food and drinks offer an unexpectedly delightful combination of high quality and reasonable prices. I only wish we had stopped in on our way out instead of on our way back from the Monument; we might have enjoyed a proper lunch! I’ll definitely be returning for a relaxed afternoon on another occasion.

Located within the National Wallace Monument's ticket booking office, this charming little café is a perfect spot to enjoy a quick bite or unwind with a cup of tea. The food is consistently delicious, and the staff are always friendly and courteous. While it may not be ideal for large strollers and lacks baby changing facilities, the small size of the café makes this understandable, and it's a minor drawback in an otherwise lovely setting. beautiful bright caffe with many tasty tasty. loved that almost all different sandwich fillings could be enjoyed as baguette, toastie or on a jacket kartoffel! beautiful dressing for salads served on the side and delicious coleslaw also. if I could choose a thing to improve, I would like to see the chili chicken described as a sweet chili chicken on the menu. I expected something spicy and tend to avoid sweet chili, so was a little regret for me.

The Forth Valley Stone Rangers visited this morning and were delighted to receive a warm welcome from the three lovely young ladies at the counter. Additionally, the ambiance was top-notch. However, we were a bit disappointed by the modest portions of jam and saw (which I assume is meant to be "scone"), although both were beautifully presented. The coffee was also quite good. Overall, we would easily rate the entire experience a solid 9 out of 10.

Had a lovely lunch here today after our visit to the monument. Great seating areas, nice and clean too. My husband had a lovely bowl of mushroom soup and I had a delicious roll with bacon and scrambled eggs. Coffee was lovely too. Topped off with a shared chocolate fudge cake with squirty cream which was scrumptious. The two girls who work here, Shelly and Kelly are very nice and helpful we had a lovely chat about dogs etc.would definitely return when in the area . great coffee house, eat and attraction. the magnificent view of the monument of their table and the café and the visitor center are easily accessible by a wheelchair. there is even a free shuttle bus to take someone who can't make the short ascent to get the most of the wheelchairs once at the moment are the prospects spectacular and the architecture is phenomenal. we will be worth a visit. the answer to my Facebook message before our visit, which was asked for access was also very good. very attentive and fast response, with all the information we wished.

Despite its grandiose name, this coffee restaurant is located next to the national monument of Sir William Wallace (known globally as Braveheart), which may not be easily recognized by everyone. However, if we refer to it as the cafeteria near the Wallace Monument, it becomes more familiar to those who are tired or hungry after visiting the monument. The prices are reasonable, the quality is good, and the restaurant was recently renovated to attract more customers with a new terrace and updated facilities. The menu is focused on pastries, sweets, soups, and sandwiches (both cold and hot), making it a convenient option to grab a quick bite while visiting the area.
