"We have visited Villefranche many times in the past and Les Garcia has been out favorite for several years. Sometimes in a weeklong trip, we would visit the restaurant three times. We had always found food to be excellent, the service friendly, and the prices reasonable. We had dinner at the restaurant last night, and we were extremely disappointed. The food was mediocre at best, and the prices have skyrocketed. Two of us ordered sea bream. The portions were small and nicely browned, but flooded in sauce. The apple tart was served flambéyed but the liquor was excessive and the taste of the liquor afterwards was overpowering. was pervasive afterwards. Most surprisingly, it was the cost. Prices have previously been very competitive with other some of the restaurants in the town, but they were really high now. In particular the cost of the desserts was exorbitant, much higher than other similar restaurants and equivalent to prime dining restaurants. We were very disappointed."

the menu at 15€ is of very good quality. the beef melt is melting to wish. I would be more reserved for the service that is of unequal quality. Some tables have olives, others not. some arrive after and are served before having the same choice in the menu. otherwise the frame is friendly. meal taken on August 20 at noon.

we chose the proposal of the day, flat or dessert dish at 15€. (gazpacho, wolf fillet, potato purée ) accustomed to gourmet restaurants and others, however, we were surprised at the amount served.
