"I booked this restaurant as a back up for Valentines Day after most places we wanted to go were booked. However, it did not disappoint and the quality of food was fantastic. We were staying more central and it took us just under and hour to get the metro here from the Eiffel tower. It's in a quiet part of town, however, it seemed to have some other lovely restaurants and bars near by too. The restaurant is very small but very lovely. Our meal was booked for 8pm and there were only 2 other couples in there at that time and it was very quiet, so felt a bit like we were whispering. However, a bit later it filled up and then there was some background music too. The menu is all in French but don't worry if you need translating as the owner is very helpful and will explain everything. There was a set price for three course for 30 euro, which is exceptional value. The food was worth so much more and as a previous reviewer mentioned, if this was in the center of Paris you would pay much much more! We both had filet steak which was cooked perfectly, our starters were lovely too and creme brulee for desert. There is a wonderful choice of wines, and just a small menu to choose from on a blackboard. Which i dropped on the floor and broke, so sorry about that! We really enjoyed our meal on Valentines Day and would recommend to anyone to try this restaurant. A tip just down the road near the metro we stopped at Paipillion for a nightcap! Perfect end to an evening! Go here for a lovely Parisian meal that isn't a tourist trap!"

We ate on a Friday night with friends local to the area. The food was interesting and delicious. The service was informed and hospitable.

Nice setting in the real Parisian East part; well accomplished cuisine with gastro type presentation. Enjoyed desserts also, good wine advise. Slightly upmarket, good place to go with other neighbouring venues.

We booked this restaurant online and were treated to a wonderful 3 courses with delicious wine, great service and a great meal overall. It's small and quiet but it was certainly a great find. Thankyou very much!

Our waiter who I think was the owner was very nice and explain the menu to my wife & I in English recommend a great wine to accompany our dinner which was amazing and the food that followed was really well executed, beautiful flavours and looked amazing on the plate, thanks again to the owner/waiter for a lovely experience.Bon appetit View menu

Les Potes au Feu does classic but creative food like you’ll find nowhere else in Paris at this price. The poached egg starter will never be forgotten, the meat main was of excellent quality, and the dessert inventive and homemade - a rare thing in these parts. The wine list is broad, innovative and reasonable. All this magic is served up on a terrace on a cobbled street in an up an up-and-coming neighborhood. Definitely worth a detour off the tourist track.

This superb little resto (24 seats) is a little piece of gastronomic heaven in Paris. Opened in 2013 and run by 2 great guys, the welcome is warm and genuine. The food is exceptional at a sensible price. I visit Paris every week and I have paid a lot more for a lot worse. In a city that prides itself on its sophisticated gastromic heritage this restaurant lives up to this promise, whereas most Paris restaurants are over priced, with low quality food and rude waiters. This is a gem. Get in there fast !!

If you look for a small Parisien Restaurant with excellent food at a reasonable price this is the one to go to. Off standard creative cuisine. Fresh and yummy! Small menu French only but the waiter helped us out. Veal Terrine, poached egg on leek with salat, roasted Duck brest, Pike with lentils and a Lemmon Cream to die for! Super small kitchen with a very friendly cook that came to the tables after the service. Very nice & relaxed athmosphere with only French guest. The area is not the finest in Paris, but we felt completely save! View menu

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal in the outdoor seating on wonderful green tables. We don't speak any French, and the waitstaff was very helpful and explained the whole menu in English. The meal started with yummy toasted baguette with an olive tapenade, compliments of the house. I had a pork cheek cooked in maple syrup with carrots, turnips and rice main dish. It was so tasty and tender. For dessert we had a chocolate mousse which was the perfect balance of lightness and richness. It was wonderful and yummy and we plan to go again soon. Thank you Camille and Les Potes Au Feu!

We left out hotel, Mama Shelter, and walked see the cafés in our neighborhood, the 20th. We saw Les Potes au Feu and stopped to look at the menu. The gentleman setting up tables outside the café asked if he could help. He went over the starters, main courses, and desserts. We liked what we heard and we liked him. His name is Camille. We ordered braised pork so tender it gave way to only a fork, with turnips and carrots and rice. Before the meal we had two espressos. Camille brought a basket of thin toasted buttered baguette slices with a pot of puréed olives to spread on the baguette if we liked. And we finished with a chocolate mousse top with caramelized sugar. We felt good and fine, and hap...
