"Passed by this restaurant as my son and I were staying nearby. The restaurant was quiet for a Friday night so we were seated straight away. Staff were attentive and friendly, efficient and fast. Started with Poppadoms with chutneys and they were delicious and fresh. I had the Naga lamb which was spicy as advertised but not overpowering. My son has the chicken Jalfrezi, only comment I would make is the chicken 'strips ' were not the best we 've seen maybe I 'm not used to it. We shared an onion rice and garlic naan between us which was ample. Note there is a policy that you have to order one main each. drinks (330ml Fanta) about the norm for London around £2.65 each. Food was pretty good value. Overall impressed, impeccably clean and appeared to be well run. No added service charge, so free to tip if you wish I only had a card and wasn 't given the option to add when paying. Sorry guys ! Better than average without being exc optional. Whilst I wouldn 't go out my way to revisit, it still gets a solid 4 and if I were in Canary Wharf again, which is fairly unlikely, I would happily go back"

Best biryani I’ve had in a long time that I’ve ordered it several times in the last 3 weeks. The baby aubergines as a starter is also highly recommended

Delicious food as always, we’ve been getting our curries from Lime every time we are in London. For dine in try the home wine selections! Delivery is great! Service staff are friendly and accomodating!

When I first arrived in London, I stayed near this restaurant. The service and manager were fantastic. The food was fresh and authentic Indian cuisine. I was able to customize my dishes, which was a nice touch. The atmosphere was relaxed and overall, it was always a pleasure to dine there. It quickly became my go-to spot in the area. View menu

Long overdue review but OMG what an amazing restaurant. Went in off the cuff as a tourist and they did not disappoint. From the second we walked in we were greeted by the owner shown to our seats and instantly made to feel welcome. Our waiter Sammie could not have been more helpful in his demeanour and knowledge of the menu his service was outstanding and the food matched it in every way. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend

While on vacation, my partner and I stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were warmly welcomed and decided to get takeout. The staff treated us like old friends, especially the gentleman behind the bar. Even though my partner was hesitant to try something new, our friendly server suggested some options and we ended up having a great conversation for an hour. It was a wonderful human experience that I hope more people get to have. And the food was amazing too!

Me and my partner ordered take away with my partner as we were craving Indian and we were in the area. Gotta say, I was pretty dissatisfied and disappointed in the food that arrived. Everything was way too sweet, the curry was sweet, the sauce given was sweet; it’s like everything was cooked with just sugar and not even a pinch of salt. The mixed platter was very mid, and I think the prawn was a bit burnt. Furthermore, the biriyani wasn’t as good as I expected it, frankly it didn’t even taste like biriyani. Have to admit, this was a waste of money that could have been used on something much more flavourful and tasteful had I known. View menu

We decided to enjoy a last meal out before lockdown 2 and went local with Lime. We have ordered from there regularly as deliveries. The food was extremely tasty. One of the best peshwari naan I have had. However I am giving this a 4 stars because I specifically asked for recommendations from the waiter and told him i wanted something really spicy such as a Madras or Jalfreezi. He told me to go with the Bhuna which I have had before and is indeed spicy. However my dish was not spicy at all. It was very tasty but there was absolutely no kick to it so I was quite disappointed with this. I told one member of staff so hopefully it will be better next time.

This is a nostalgic review for I have visited this restaurant maybe 100 times over the years. I remember when it opened with myself living in a nearby tower. The food, the decor, the ambiance, was entirely different level for the time. It was a tornado of fresh air that needed to sweep through the Indian restaurants in the area. Fusion! I eventually moved away but still make a point of stopping in when I am working in the area. I still particularly like the onion bahji’s, the tandori mixed grill, the tandoori butterfly prawns, the tandori lamb cutlets. The tikka, biriyani, curry’s and all the standard dishes are exceptional. I also love the round tables seated areas with their high backs whi...
