"This is a charming little restaurant that only seats 12 people. The interior is intimate, well-lit, and tastefully decorated. I had the meat teriyaki dish, which was absolutely delicious. I make sure to visit this restaurant at least once every time I am in London. Update: There is now a section downstairs that can accommodate more people. Also, the restaurant's name has changed from Lingo to Nala. The menu remains the same, and the food is still excellent in 2019. However, due to some language difficulties, the waitress misunderstood my order and brought me a Bento box instead of my beloved beef teriyaki. Unfortunately, the Bento box had very little beef teriyaki and many other items that I did not enjoy. The restaurant kindly reduced my bill by £3, but I left feeling hungry."

came last night with my colleague because of an appetizer and snacks here. very small, only four or five tables, but I love this vibe! beautiful authentic kitchen. we had a scarf-hand roll and softshell-crebsushi. very pleasant. this with two. asahis was close, which is steep, but for the eating and event, I would come back here again. they had a lot of choice on the menu, so much to try!

This is cute little restaurant that seats people total. It has an intimate but well lit and tastefully decorated interior. I have only ever had the beef Teriyaki which is just delicious. I come back at least once every time I am in London.Update: there is a downstairs section that seats quite a few more people. Also -the name changed from Lingo to Nala. The menu has not changed, and the food is still great.

On Saturday, we spent the day in the office, which was not very exciting. By late afternoon, we were done with our work and hungry since we hadn't eaten since breakfast. Around 4 o'clock, we went to Soho with the intention of treating ourselves to sushi at Kulu Kulu, only to find out that they didn't open until 5 o'clock. Luckily, Lingo was open nearby, so we walked in and sat down. The service was a bit slow, but we had the place to ourselves, creating a nice, quiet atmosphere. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, including a seaweed salad with a delicious dressing.

I ordered the Seafood Ramen at this restaurant, but was disappointed with the experience. The seafood was overcooked and seemed to be just Tesco Frozen Seafood from a bag. The bamboo shoots tasted like the packaged ones from the supermarket, and the half eggs were cold and overcooked. The noodles were not homemade, but also not the quality I expected - they seemed like the pot noodles you can buy at a Japanese supermarket. This was the worst Japanese food I have ever had. If the restaurant doesn't know how to prepare it properly, they should not include it on their menu.
