Lovely dinner, the food was tasty and Raz who served us was really helpful. Great view and really good service all round with the food and staff

Very underwhelming and over priced dry minimal un flavoured food.Mine particularly was vile I had to send it back.The table waiter however was very nice and accommodating.

Great view, nice food, bad service. Meal took ages to come out, we ordered drinks that never arrived and we had to ask twice for the service to be taken off the bill. Had high hopes being as it was part of the Celtic Manor but really wasn’t worth it.

Poor menu. I wanted Salmon and a side salad. But was told l had to have the “Main salad” which l didn’t like or the Side salad as the same price as the main salad £9.50 I said l would just have the Salmon. But that too was not permitted! Opted for sandwiches which l didn’t want. No real healthy options. Very disappointed

Had the soup starter and Monty Burger for Main both Good. My Wife had the Mushroom brushetta, mushrooms nice but the bread was soggy, She had the Rump Steak for Main and the Steak was inedible, unfortunately We wasn't asked during the meal or after how the mains were, so we couldn't exchange for another 1, spoilt the dining experience.

Very disappointed, steak was bland chips were cold, my partners ribs were over cooked and hard with cold chips too. When asked for new chips the waiter came back and careless put them infront of me with an attitude. Both desserts were tasteless. Way over priced for the quality and portion size. Shocking quality for a hotel like this. Absolutely freezing cold inside the restaurant so made it uncomfortable experience. Will not be returning or recommending

Our restaurant of choice when staying at the Celtic Manor. Food here is always top drawer. Perfectly cooked, balanced and great tasting. Loved every dish we had (lamp rump and the mash is simply the best I’ve ever had. The only comment I would make, the Nacho starters. Nice big helpings of guacamole, salsa and sour cream….but no cheese? Nachos need melted cheese over the tortilla chips. Just weird not to have it. Overall, fantastic food, service and ambience. Will always go back when we stay. 10/10

Four of our children had the child’s rump steak which was tough and inedible ,pointed this out to the restaurant manager who tried to say that’s the way rump is very unhelpful individual the other meals were average whilst were waiting almost an hour for the starters and the an hour the the main course the waiter useless I asked 3 times for a drink which never came. All in all a bad experience the worst service I’ve ever experienced together with poor over priced food and restaurant manager who could not have cared less. Suggest his performance be discussed at the management meeting

We ate here for a wedding anniversary meal on a Tuesday evening. The atmosphere was lovely. Sat by the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the golf course. Staff were really friendly and attentive. The menu offers good choices for both vegetarian and meat eaters. We had three course meals, both eating different dishes and both really enjoyed them all with a bottle of wine. Would recommend visiting this restaurant and will hopefully return myself. I bought a gift voucher for a three course mid-week meal for two in the Celtic manor gift voucher sale. If you can do this I would recommend it as it takes the price down from £80 to £60, which made it extremely good value
