Lutong Pinoy Filipino

The place is small and a lot of people going there, so sometimes it can be overwhelming. However, the food is so delicious. The Pork BBQ is a Must! I will visit this place again! The Bulalo is so satisfactory especially this rainy day.

we were in the earls court area and did not want processed jollibee müll, we found this place and had the plate for 3 and a few additional dishes, including chicharron bulaklak, which was excellent. not cheap, but what freshly prepared eating in this area? would like to visit again.

Visited this restaurant to try Filipino cuisine. It is pretty much directly opposite Ras court tube station just a few minutes walk).I ordered sizzling Sisig with garlic rice and my wife ordered the BBQ pork with Pancit and rice. We both thoroughly enjoyed everything...we were served. If next in London we would definitely try this restaurant again as they had a good selection of Filipino. Though I didn’t have the Halo Halo, it was very popular with other diners.

we ordered 3 different dishes from the menu; pakbet, batangas lomi and kare kare na lechon. pakbet was the most disappointing, it looked out and tasted like sinusgang na gulay! I'm sorry to say, but this order was a waste of food and money, we had only one spoon of it. batangas lomi was completely misleading as it was not somewhere near batangas lomi (my partner is from batangas.) it lacked the Bola boola and leber, and the important flavors such as toyo, calamansi and chili. kare tasted okey, but it also lacked the basic but important flavor; the bagoong. the service was very bad, after about 40 minutes our order arrived. the young waitress had no eye contact with us and our tellers were ro...

beautiful that the philippine restaurants can be found in london. I really miss eating Filipino food, and well what we found this restaurant. it is near earls hofstation and is easily accessible. the interior of the ortes has this philippinic feeling, especially the recipe counter, which is decorated like a bahay kubo (traditional houses on the philippines) that was also delicious and also 100% legit! we ordered their sisig, which was hot, we also ordered their dinuguan (I miss this viand really,) and also their lechon kawali, which is not disappointed. We wanted to try their buffet dinner but we came in late so we ordered a la carte. We ordered a simple beef in peanut butter sauce, kare kare as we call it and plain rice. Water for drinks as I had my eyes on...the Purple Yam cake (ube cake). It was a busy night, but the guy on the floor was alone, taking orders, serving food and cleaning tables and he handled it well that was a good 10-15 tables i guess, definitely more than 20guests at that time. we come at the place and sit immediately in the table (first table) good for 4 people (we are only 2, my son and I,) I was impressed. after a few minutes we were asked to go to the next table because a group of...4 needs it. I'm more than happy, of course. the group of 4 was immediately asked for orders like drinks, etc. they were very well entertained and we were left behind. while we wait for someone to pick up our order. We had eaten at the Lutong Pinoy about seven years ago and decided never to set foot into that restaurant again. When our relative told us that meanwhile the place was under new ownership and the food was much better, we gave it another try....Alas, better it was, but still far from good.
