Bright and airy restaurant, great service, wonderful food at a surprisingly low price. Capital spare ribs were really good!

The red curry sauce was the worst I have ever tasted. The service was not good and there was not enough chicken in the curry. The sizzling beef was mostly batter with very little beef.

I would recommend going to Four Regions in Richmond upon Thames instead of this place. The service here is sloppy and extremely delayed. I suggest dining in at Four Regions for a better experience.

I was extremely disappointed with the poor quality of the food at this restaurant. When I inquired about a specific dish, the waitress challenged me in a rude manner. The food was bland and tasteless, making it one of the worst dining experiences we've had in a long time.

This is definitely the best Chinese takeout I have ever tried, and I have tried a few. The service is fast and efficient, whether you dine in for lunch or place a takeout order (unfortunately, no delivery available at the moment). The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting for those waiting for their food. The staff is always willing to offer suggestions for your order. Be sure to try the grilled meat dumplings!

I often question whether people truly recognize good food when they taste it. I have dined at many expensive and highly regarded restaurants around the world, including in China, Hong Kong, San Francisco, Vancouver, and Sydney, all with large and sophisticated Chinese communities. I have also frequented Ken Lo's Memories of China in Victoria, London. Lux II ranks among the best of them, offering incredible value for the price. I have been a patron of this restaurant for 25 years and have always enjoyed the food and service. However, recently I have experienced a significant decline in the quality of service. We waited over an hour for our starters and then another hour and 20 minutes for our main dishes. The restaurant seemed understaffed with only 2-3 servers who appeared overwhelmed and chaotic. It appeared that they were prioritizing takeout orders over in-house diners. It is clear that they need to hire more staff to accommodate both services.
