"I had a business lunch with a colleague from our office nearby in the media park. Place was pretty crowded and we could only find a table with high chairs. Not ideal but overall quite comfortable. Under advice from my colleague, we went for the buffet, which actually looked quite enticing. I've seen that other customers went for other options, such as hamburgers, rather reasonable-looking pizzas and other Italian food, which seems to be the alternate choice to the rather traditional German-Bavarian dishes.We were not there looking for typical cuisine or anything out of the ordinary but for a place to have a chat outside of the office and talk shop without having colleagues bothering too often. The level of noise was acceptable so, in the end, we got what we wished for: reasonable service, reasonable food at a reasonable price, especially if you consider you're eating in a place literally surrounded by big media companies.Starters were a bit of a mixed bag. All of them were cold, which is fine, but some were better than others. Gnocchetti were way too compact and I personally didn't like too much the sauce. The rice was OK but nothing to write home about. Rest was quite forgettable, to be perfectly honest. Main courses were definitely better. The pork roast was pretty good, even if the crust could have been a bit thicker. The Kartoffelknödel were a bit too big for my liking as I prefer the smaller, traditional Bavarian ones but they were not half bad. The Krautsalat didn't look too enticing and I skipped that so I cannot say anything on its quality. I would have liked to have some Hausbrot with the main, but I didn't look too hard for it.Including a Diet Coke, the buffet was reasonably priced (13 €) and was adequate. I'm not expecting high cuisine from a business lunch so I wasn't very disappointed - I just decided not to return there for the rest of my trip and stick to my usual "no lunch" policy. I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to eat at Mace but if you're in the neighbourhood for a business trip, the place does the job all right, thanks also to the hard work of the service staff, which handled the constant influx of customers rather well. I'm a bit sorry I cannot give this restaurant more than an "Average" score but that was the overall impression I got from my visit. Maybe I was just unlucky."

in some days good at some days bad.Only the pizzas are always equally good. the service remains quiet and very competent despite the midday. Chapeau!Buffet used to be better.

Food looks and smells really good, but I found the taste bit dissapointing. Was Here during aspergus season, and sooo many dishes had them in it. Risotto ok, but could use more flavour than garlic. Salades good.

Met with some colleagues and friends for a bit here and it was lovely. Food was tasty, service was fast and with a smile and the price right for it. The tables outside with the sunny day really make it an ideal spot to sit and relax in between meetings.

I've been going for years at irregular intervals very much to lunch in the mace. the quality of the food is true and the service is very flotted and friendly. the price/performance ratio is absolutely in order. the ambiente is modern and open, it fits well with the surrounding office park landscape in the mediengebiet of unterföhring.

in mace you get in addition to very good pizza from Tuesday to Thursday all you can eat at a good price-performance ratio. whoever doesn't want can order from the card. the modern restaurant is very popular with the employees of the surrounding companies, which is why it is worth booking. in summer you can sit nicely outside, and the service is very friendly.

we were there for a private party.The buffer was really delicious. everything was beautifully decorated. the service was really flott and very attentive. in particular the drink service has read almost every wish from the eyes. everyone was very friendly and attentive. At the weekend you can make something krach, because nobody works around. we had a nice evening and like to come back.
