Nice pub. Friendly folks. Good beer selection. Good fish chips, average steak ale pie. Wish we’d visited when live music was on!

Loved the food and the drinks. We stopped in for a late lunch of fish chips and a haggis burger. They were delicious. I couldn’t believe the burger was so good!

My wife and I had different meals, and commonly taste each other’s. Both were wonderful. The friendly waitress was so much fun and introduced us two Aussies to Irn-Bru Scottish soft drink. Good on ya!!!

Bar and restaurant in Inverness with an incredible atmosphere. Cozy fireplaces to keep you warm. Great beer, delicious food, friendly staff, and live Scottish folk music create a truly unique experience.

The best food we tried in Scotland! This restaurant offers a wide selection of delicious food and drinks. The menu's unique dish names adds a charming touch. The vegetarian burger (Mental Red Lentil Burger) was the best I've ever had. My only regret is that I live too far away to visit regularly. View menu

Popped in for a quick drink before our meal. Good choice of beers available on tap, quite a few from Cromarty Brewery which we were pleased with. However, service was slow, even though it was just the 2 of us at the bar. Decided against staying for another. Shame as it looks like it would be a good choice if live music was on

After frequenting MacGregor's many times in the past, I was disappointed to be asked to place my order over the shoulders of the bar patrons. This was disrespectful to me and to the other customers at the bar. It would have been much simpler for the staff, myself, and others if I could have placed my order from where I was standing. I can only assume that the staff are following a certain rule, as they have always been pleasant individuals in the past.

A lovely Restaurant very rustic and cosy with a very welcoming glowing fire burning away in the fireplace on a cold Scottish night in November. Staff very friendly especially the Whiskey Waiter who filled us with interesting information about various Whiskeys and which ones he would recommend after asking us a few questions, a lovely tasting experience. Food lovely, I chose Salmon, partner ordered the Beastie Burger which definitely lived up to its title. Wine equally lovely in this very laid back and cosy dog friendly Bar. Yes we would happily return again should we return to Inverness ;o) View menu
