"We walked past as our daughter pointed out they make bubble tea, whilst ordering the bubble tea we decided to eat in, having previously gone to a mama lan in Brixton, although we had waited a long time there we didn’t get to try the food, so it has been a long time coming to taste what the menu has to offer, we ordered sriracha noodles, sweet chilli chicken rice and I decide to order the chilli prawn rice, the more expensive item on the menu, the first two came and when my pram chilli rice came there was a lot of rice a few bits of broccoli and 4 small prawns, looking at my daughters sweet chilli chicken rice I had expected as the price was more for my prawn dish to be some what similar in offering If not bigger, the irony is that the menu states this is a family run business that they would have a children’s option on the menu, they didn’t so we ordered her the chicken rice and this happened to be bigger than both of our meals despite outlets being more expensive on the menu, I politely spoke to the man seating at the back of the restaurant, supposedly the manager, said straight away yes you have 5 prawns, maybe I had to look through the amass of rice to locate the last one, he gave me a fake smile and no sincerity, walked away, I picked up a menu from a vacant table and the second I picked it up he got from the back of the restaurant to replace it, it all seemed very passive aggressive, so I still have not sampled the menu. But what I can say through visiting this franchise is that their service is very lacking. The family said the food was okay so have given it an extra star for this so 2 stars all in all"

Pretty good Thai restaurant in the heart of Clapham Common. Quick service and good, flavourful food. Portions of the mains are generous. Dumplings are delicious but a bit small.

Nice little restaurant, food tastes super fresh, I had the pasta salad and dumplings (as always I expected the dumplings to be more flour but they were more like gyozas- still nice.) The chef/waiter is super friendly. View menu

Rice meal was terrible all rice, 4 prawns and a bit of sauce and some salad, all for £11 which was a very expensive price to pay and felt like an Iceland meal from next door. Got 2 stars only because the chicken noodle soup was decent. So much hope for good Asian, so little on delivery

Stopped here as I've had nothing to eat since breakfast. Got to say the food was served very quick following ordering and all seems freshly prepared nice and hot too (temperature not spicy hot). The menu was not busy nor overloaded with options. The staffs are welcoming and the place was cosy, clean and comfortable.

I was recommended this place as I made a rare visit to clapham. there were 2 waiters and I have to say that you really let it down on the team. she was too busy talking to a table to notice that I wanted to order twice. the other was fantastic! great know about eating and so polite! I had the bungalow while my friend had the nudes. the noodles were so warm and he told me they were full of taste and the best he had in london! my **** was big and although not as good as bao seasoned. it was a good cotender. clapham is increasingly coming to its own country with restaurants and restaurants. mama! lan is conveniently located behind the clapham common station and is a great place for a simple but tasty lunch. I had the king prawn and kastanienknödel and the ban on chickens. they both had the right mix of textures with the soft outside and the chestnut credits that were wonderfully crunchy on the inside. the chicken ban my was also a great main dish if a bit heavier part wise. not too many would complain about it! mama! lan also has a nice cozy feeling, it great for if they are in the opposite and want a healthy meal try it at some point, they do not disappoint.

what: japanese where: clapham common value: £15pp food review: the menu is limited and becomes a snack menu, that is the idea to order a lot of dishes. When I was not hungry, I could order a few dishes and even fill me up. the first court ordered was a mini-Japanese halloumi burger, although small, packed a stamp. every bite was an explosion of aromen. next were 2 types of knödeln, one consisted of garnel and the other of mushrooms, everyone was equally delicious and moorish. settings review: it is often not so easy to find because the shop is small and has a dark outer. in the inner there are limited sitting opportunities and many people who are packed inside. the interior design is sweet a...
