Large Menu with great choice of dishes.. E.g. Locally caught brown shrimp, seriously good steak, lots of flavour and nice atmosphere. Make sure to book.. Note, cash only..

We went inside and ordered takeaway. The pizza was hot and tasty, but a little soggy. Our two pasta dishes were also pretty good, but nothing special. Definitely not the best Italian food we ever had, but decent overall View menu

Wir sind auf der Anreise zum Nordseeurlaub zufällig zum Abendessen hier gelandet und waren positiv überrascht. Die Sitzplätze sind zwar etwas eng, dafür hat aber der sehr freundliche Service und das Essen über zeugt. Allergie bedingte Sonderwünsche wurden prompt und gerne erfüllt.

We are often in this Restaurant. The Italian food is very good. Especially pizza is delicious. Over several years we are never disappointed and like the fast service and good food inside Mamma Mia. The service staff is very friendly. Often a reservation is required...because this Restaurant is well visited

Mamma Mia is our favorite Italian restaurant in Leer. It's located at the eastern end of the pedestrian mall. The menu contains the usual pizzas and pastas, but also steaks, seafood and salads. If you are looking for something you don't find on the menu,...just ask Boris or Salvatore for it. My favorite is tortellini Mamma Mia style. Yummy!! View menu

Wir waren zu fünft am Freitagabend dort und hatten Salate Mamma Mia, div. Pizza, Bruschetta und Steak. Alles war top zubereitet und reichlich. Auch der Wein war so wie wir ihn mögen. Die Bedienung wie immer fröhlich und zu Späßen aufgelegt. Ich mag den vorderen (alten) Teil des Restaurants, gerade weil er etwas dunkler, enger und lauter ist.

I have to agree with a number of my fellow reviewers, this place is ok, fresh pizza dough, not so fresh toppings. Reasonable prices. Manically busy at times, a little cramped, and rather unsettlingly abrupt waiters found myself apologizing for ordering my pizza under the...impatient stare of one gentleman. I can imagine that if you are a regular and know how to time it just right and catch the waitersowners when they are in a good mood, it's a pretty decent place. But if you are just stopping for a bite to eat and to relax after work, don't do that here

We went on a Saturday night, just after they had opened. All tables had a reserved sign on them, but that is probably a trick to stop the German guests just sitting themselves down at a table. The menu is extensive, which should have been...a warning. The scallopine are all pork, not veal. We ordered a pizza with tuna, egg, peppers as well as the standard cheese and tomato, plus a lasagne. The latter looked and tasted OK, but the pizza used peppers from a jar as mentioned by the previous German reviewers, and the egg was hardboiled and sliced on top, not a fresh one that gets cooked with the pizza.
