"Driven by the bike climb to the village of goats, the boss/server saw that we were cooked. He received us and ensured that the parasols protect us from the sun. A little away from the village centre's swelling, it was the place we needed. Welcoming, smiling, helpful, attentive and interested in his clients... I haven't had such a good time in an altitude restaurant a long time ago. And you know what? It was great, from the MAISON FACT... This Italian restaurant that does not make pizza will offer you authentic Italian cuisine at very correct prices. We'll be back there for sure. Thank you. François"

"Bottom line my worst experience in a full week of dinners in Avoriaz, by far. Both on food and especially on service! First of all we had the impression they were a Michelin restaurant if this is a Michelin restaurant, we can give up on Michelin. However it seems it 's a sign from 2020, they didn 't get it since, so it 's of little meaning beyond misleading customers. We reserved 4 days in advance, on arrival we got 2 separated tables, with one being limited to just an hour and 45 minutes. That table was served with urgency, while ours took a super long time to get food 2 kids portions (pasta with nothing and pasta with cheese) took over an hour an a half we had to ask 2 separate waiters until they got it to us... Entrees some were good, some were OK. Main courses we took one special (45 days salted ribs) and a duck based course with truffles the ribs were nice, kids even took some. The duck was absolutely tasteless, we ate a tiny piece of it and nobody in a group of 9 wanted to touch it. The waiter in a very French way said must be too much taste for you the truffles , even after I said I love truffles and none of us felt any taste of truffles, it was basically a shepherd 's pie with duck at the bottom and barely any taste to the duck meat. Even bathrooms are pretty but not maintained at all bin is obstructed, toilet paper is the cheapest I 've seen in any restaurant, here or anywhere. If you insist on going, I recommend the duck foie gras and the Burratta of the entrees, and the lamb. Everything else was super high priced, tasteless, or both. Honestly no idea how this restaurant has such a score, I would never come back. All of this for a pretty ridiculous price of a high society restaurant, as they like to think of themselves.. We came back to the white fountain (Fontaines blanches) to the best dinner we had during our stay.."

"well located restaurant, in the heart of the village of goats, leaving the station. Very friendly and welcoming staff, the tartiflette is very good and well served ( accompanied by salad and local charcuterie in the unique flat menu: the dessert buffet on a table in the sun in the middle of the passage, that everyone will contemplate and comment. without mask (even without covid, I'm not a fan of people's postillons on my blueberry pie I always recommend this establishment."

"If you are on the slopes in avoriaz looking for great food, reasonably priced and a warm welcome look no further. Really enjoyed the meal and staff are so welcoming. It's the combination of factors that makes me want to give this place an excellent rating. The food is really tasty and a menu that suits all palates including good veggie options. The gallettes are soooo good! The place is run by a family who go that extra mile. They really care about the customer's experience. Highly recommended."

"Probably the best thing that happened to Avoriaz the last decade! Good original served food, very friendly service in La Fruitiere. (No so much in the self service I also miss the pasta rolled in the Parmesan cheese). The performances are really great this year, costumes are nice. DJ’s are good, especially when they play less commercial deep house. The unlimited folie was a perfect initiative, we enjoyed the Kiddy Smile DJ set. A perfect place to start a sunny afternoon, dance and even make some new friends. Much more style ambiance than the one in Val Thorens."
