"maray is the latest opening at the top end of the bold street and serves falafels, cocktails and small teller. the interieur is dim and bare with a long community table that dominates the thin space and creates a lively atmosphere. we drove to maray for an early evening drink and snack, the prices are quite competitive with most menus that are around £5 for a dish. we had to try the caption Falafel bites, this was served with three dives, including green chili, hummus and baba ganoush along with a stack of flatbreads and a token salad. the choice of dives for me, the chili. the falafels themselves were small bites, which were deep fried, the cicherebral filling was nice, but they had to be bigger to be crispy. we have also tried a few other dishes, including slowly cooked lamb with spinach and curcumacious leaves and an unusual risotto parmesan filled aubergine. the lamb disappointed not on the delicate front and broke under the lightest pressure and was with a deep"

Exceptional in every area that counts. The food, staff, cocktails, ambience. All 5 star. Genuinely one the best restaurant experiences I've had in several years.

Fabulous, cosy restaurant. Amazing food consisting of small plates, plenty of vegeterian options. We had a bottle of Lebanese wine..it was lovely. Staff is very friendly too and offer advice on food and wine

Absolutely perfect recommendation from a friend. Lovely staff, beautiful, different and delicious small plates. Great to see the vegan menu as well thought out as the meat, fish and veg. Cocktails were made with love and all enjoyed in a really cosy sparkly atmosphere!

we ate here on my birthday and each member of my family enjoyed the experience. I especially love the food proportions and the general ambiente. the menu was varied and the food was very delicious. service was friendly and we all felt that the team was the most hospitable. I would recommend maray for a very relaxed lunch, dinner or dinner.

One on the most memorable restaurants I have eaten at this year. The setting is cosy and intimate but with plenty of atmosphere. We couldn’t not order the cauliflower and it did not disappoint, we could have definitely eaten two. The falafel and halloumi dishes were also stand out and full of flavour. The service was also excellent with our server offering recommendations on how many plates to order.

we had a very nice time here, the service was great and the food was delicious. I would definitely come back. a minor complaint was the donation donation on the reception if companies want to donate money, they are more than welcome, but should not be added to customer bills by default. they need to decide what causes a few minutes delay while they go back to remove it from the bill. all very unpleasant and inappropriate to attach their customers. otherwise, a really excellent restaurant.

As a gluten-free vegan, I have never felt so catered for or welcome in a normal restaurant. They gave me an electronic menu where I could filter out what I couldn 't have to then show me what I could have (why doesn 't every food place have this?!? and I still had such a huge variety. It was the little things they did like giving me oat cakes instead of bread (again, why doesn 't every restaurant do this! . The food was absolutely sublime and every plate was incredible. The staff were so nice too. I wish this was my local as I 'd always take people here!
