Marston's The Sarsen Stones, Farnborough

Have been to a few Marstons recently and this one has to be my favourite. Food was excellent and all the waitresses were a credit to the manager . Who herself couldn’t have been more accommodating

I visited this restaurant for the first time with friends who live nearby. The venue was nice, the staff was friendly, and the food was enjoyable. It was similar to other Marstons venues, so I had high expectations and was not disappointed. View menu

The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and accommodating. The dining experience is pleasant. I have been here a few times and have never had a bad experience. They also provided cakes and decorations for a birthday party we celebrated here.

We visited this restaurant on Christmas Day, just like we did last year, and it was just as good as before. There were eight of us and everyone was happy with their choice of food and enjoyed plenty of cocktails. It was a relaxed Christmas day and we want to thank everyone who made it possible.

We dined at Sarsen Stones for the second year in a row on Christmas Day. Just like last year, the food was outstanding, beautifully plated, and flawlessly prepared, with attentive servers. However, unlike our experience last year, the timing between courses was a bit rushed this time and the drink service was disappointingly slow, which is why we have given it a 4-star rating. Great food with outstanding service from all staff. My little brother had a chicken burger which unfortunately came out burnt. I decided to complain as it really wasn’t something you could eat. The waiter and manager were very apologetic and fully refunded the burger. My 10 year old brother then had a free sundae dessert which he was very happy with. My burger came out superb and delicious. Great atmosphere inside too. We will be back.

the service was immaculate, both managers were exceptional. the drinks were thirsty quenched and immediately arrived. the food was hot and tasty and presented itself impeccably. the furniture is completely in harmony with the mood that this brilliant pub tries to show. actually, big fan of the whole facility. after considering, I would not hesitate to recommend this device to anyone I come into contact with. 10/10, drinks 10/10, service 10/10, atmosphere 10/10. big fan.

I booked for Xmas Day lunch as I just couldn’t be bothered to cook it myself this year chose Sarsen’s Stone as we go there regularly the food is always good the service fantastic! Chrissie her team did not disappoint our Xmas Day lunch was the best I’ve ever had! The menu choice was great the price very competitive. I had originally booked just for four of us, but when I realised my two elderly neighbours were on their own I rang spoke with Chrissie to see if she could add them to our table! No problem at all she said, but wasn’t sure what choices on the Xmas menu would be available. My neighbours were delighted and in fact had full choice of everything.
