"Horrendous attitude from one of the owners/family helpers called Lee. I would like to highlight that Sonia provided a professional customer service experience in comparison to Lee. Placed the order at arrived at When I called at to find out...what was happening, Sonia offered to phone the driver to find out the situation for me, which was good. Whilst waiting on Sonia phoning me back, I received a call from Lee asking me to tell her what the problem was, I explained her colleague was dealing with it she then went on to explain how busy they are, which is understandable and I understand the challenges businesses have at the moment, owning my own. But there was no apology. In fact Lee (who at this point I did not know was the owner/family helper until Sonia told me) went on to tell me it was my fault I ordered from Just eat as they had their own orders to fill first?? Eh hello? It doesn't matter how I place my order, I chose your business to order my dinner from!. Anyway I explained to her that I didn't like her tone of voice and felt she was being really aggressive with me. She asked me if I wanted to cancel my order,I said we have been waiting two hours, so we may as well wait, however she was very forceful and kept saying no I will cancel, I will cancel and then decided to put the phone down on me. I couldn't believe how I had been treated as a customer! Then Sonia kindly phoned back to apologise and I asked whoever that was, should not be in a customer role and I was shocked to be spoken to in that way. She then went on to inform me Lee is the owner/family helper! Shocking. Sonia asked for my details and explained she would let the other owner know what had happened. hours later, I've not heard a peep from the restaurant. So I've made the decision to leave a review after explaining to them, this is what I would do. After waiting over and a half hours and using them for the first time, the food was below average. The pakoras and rice was nice, however the chicken korma was inedible, it was stringy and chewy, the lamb bhuna sauce was nice, the lamb was fatty and chewy. So all that wait for pakora and rice and sauce. We won't be back! Horrendous way to speak and treat customers!"

"Fed up of playing the 'is it open, is it closed ' game. A few times i 've gone down when it says online its open only to find it closed. One minute they have delivery drivers, the next they don 't. Delivery drivers seemed to leave within a couple of weeks. Finally managed to catch it open during lunch one day. Phoned and placed an order for a panini box meal thing. Woman on phone said it would be 10/15mins. So nipped down on my 30 min lunch break, for the man to tell me she had gone out to buy produce to make my panini and that she wouldnt be long now. (think i heard him mention to someone in the kitchen that she was away to tesco) waited another 25mins and she still hadnt returned so he kindly offered to make me something else. Woman who had taken my order finally arrived back, didnt even acknowledge me, started moaning about issues she had getting the items. Man offered to make me what i had ordered but wasnt willing to wait any longer so took the toastie instead, he was very apologetic but the woman couldnt have given 2 tosses. Havent been back since, and wont be back. food was average and i had to work extra as had gone over on my lunch break. A few of the locals have said to avoid as well as the woman can apparently be quite nasty if you argue or complain. Theres another cafe just around the corner, where the food is amazing well priced and staff are lovely. use that as my regular now."

Lanna Thai

"The Lanna Thai is something of an anomaly, having somehow managed to survive in Falkirk as everything around it hit the skids, yet nobody ever talks about it and it never seems busy. Located next door to the similarly enduring Railway Tavern near Grahamston train...station, the Lanna Thai is a small, traditionally decorated and family run Thai eatery that may rarely be overflowing, but is never entirely empty. Offering a full menu as well as and course specials, the restaurant's main talking point is its bring your own bottle licensing state, for which there are pros and cons. On the one hand, as someone who doesn't drink wine, it means I need to have any drinks I want pre-chilled and need to remember them. On the other, it means that you are getting drink you want, and if you like wine there's a Tesco literally less than a minute away. I've visited the place several times and always found the staff pleasant. I usually take courses from the budget menu, it's been a while but I'm positive it comes in at around and while the portions are smaller, that comes with the territory. Quality of the food is solid. Eaten there many times and never had a bad meal. At the same time I've never had an exceptional, rave about meal, but I'm definitely erring more towards the side of positivity here. As much as I wouldn't call it budget, it also isn't expensive either. I feel like my score is maybe a bit harsh, but understand I don't put it as out of badness. It's a solid little restaurant that I don't have many complaints about, I just don't really have anything the recommend you rush to try there though."

"Have frequented the creamery for many many years, firstly because of the food and secondly because it’s local to me. The creamery is such a little hidden gem. From the outside it looks like your average pool hall (it is a snooker hall, pool hall and restaurant area but when you step in to the restaurant you would never know there are many people playing snooker and pool in the next rooms. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, enough space between tables and very well set up with friendly and knowledgable staff. The menu is great and really does have something for everyone as well as specials of the day/week. But the food is the star of the show, delicious! And as a large family we all have our personal favourite. The homemade steak pie is a big hit with some while most of the family love the fish and chips, great sized portions and all cooked fresh! My personal favourite has got to be the Cajun chicken with Cajun sauce (if you haven’t tried the sauce you really need to! I have a 14 and a 5 year old and the creamery is both their favourite restaurant to go to. Kids menu is perfect, again something for everyone. We also gave a vegetarian in our party and she is always happy and has choices. 10/10 always. If you haven’t visited you really should, you won’t regret it. Also to mention there is a fully stocked bar with a fairly new addition of cocktails which look incredible but I’m yet to try."
