"We ordered a delivery from Fork and Mustard today for myself and work colleagues. We made the order through Just Eat at 11:58am and were advised delivery would be 1pm. We were then notified that there was a delay in our order and that they would contact us when it had left for delivery, (we are located about 1 miles from shop). Myself and my colleagues finally received our order at 14:10pm. Just over 2 hours to prepare some toasties and soup and have these delivered is shocking. Food was warm when it arrived and average but would not order a delivery from here again due to time aspects. (before anyone comments about collecting, we work in the local hospital and we were unable to collect, that 's why we ordered for delivery)."

"Had gluten free fish and chips last night from here and it was fantastic. Saw them cook my meal in its own fryer, use a separate area to serve my food. The staff were very helpful and knew what they were doing when it came to allergens and coeliac customers. Fantastic service! My first fish supper for many years and it was delicious! Keep up the good work!"

"Well I’ve eaten at the Gulner for over 40;years and I ordered a carry out , well it=was the worst carry out I’ve ever had, pokoras cold, sauce bland and the curry was poor, tastes was bland sauce was bland rice was cool. Disappointing to say the least."

"dipped for lunch when for a cycle. the pub was busy, but tables were available. when we arrived, the girl at the reception looked at a man (probably the manager) at the bar that shoved his head. then we were told that there were no tables for eating or drinking, indoors or outdoors. I can only assume that our bike jackets do not match the primark chic of the rest of the clientele. this was confirmed when I called five minutes later and was told that, yes we could have a table for two hours. rather disappointing how to treat a second hand citizen, but no great loss as from pre-Covid days, I remember her food as average pub grub best"

"Just a nice wee local cafe. I came here while waiting for my car to go through its major Service at the local MOT Station. I was able to work with my laptop and it wasn't too busy. I had the mini retro breakfast with square sausage fried egg bacon and a slice of brown bread, I got an extra square sausage as I don't like potato scone! Everything was good apart from the square sausage I found them to be a bit dry and not that tasty. Felt like they had been sitting for a while or reheated maybe? The decorations are all in retonstyle with moped memorabilia plastered all over A nice wee cafe will definitely go again next time the car is in for something!"

"We have been long term customers of The Cotton House since 2008. Even after moving away from the area, I used to drive from Perth every other weekend for a takeaway. Now we live in the Borders and it is a rare treat to go. Never, not once in all these years, has the Cotton House disappointed. I very single time we have had takeaway or sat in, they have delivered a five star service and five star food. Yesterday was no different. It’s been 6 months since we were last here, and no surprises outstanding meal. Thank you Cotton House team. You never disappoint."

"It was the third of march and would you believe some roads leading to wood street were closed and under three feet of snow. So much for the first week of spring. It was the day of our marriage and we were fighting against all...that mother nature was flinging at us. When my wife and I arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of guests who actually made it to the venue. After congregating in the smaller function room we were piped through to the larger function room for the ongoings. After the speeches and the meal we were decanted into the smaller function room again so the layout could be changed for the night time proceedings. Mingling with the guests it was encouraging to hear that many enjoyed a fabulous meal. Many danced the night away to a good mix of music. The night drew to a happy end. We would rate our wedding experience as five star throughout. We had good food, value for money and excellent waiting staff. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to any considering a wedding or function. Ask for Paul the wedding organizer and you won't be disappointed."

"I recently had a pleasant lunch at this restaurant. I ordered a brat and cranberry baguette with a side of soup, and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was beautiful. We sat in the additional seating area upstairs, which was lovely and away from the busy bar downstairs. The plates were impeccably clean, and the food was promptly sent back to the kitchen. The prices were reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. COVID protocols were in place during my visit, including wearing face masks while moving around, using hand sanitizer upon entering, and providing contact tracing information."

"I can honestly say I’ve never had a worse dining experience in my life. The menu is very confusing and printed in basic word. There is no indication when booking of the menu being mostly a Malaysian menu. If you’re going for a classic pub meal as we were, this is not the restaurant for you. We would have been happy to trial some Malaysian cuisine, but the menu was so confusing and complicated it put half of our diners off this selection. No guidance or enthusiasm from the servers either might I add. Regardless of what we ordered off the menu, the food quality was terrible. The fish was mushy and tasteless, the gammon steak minimally cooked, frozen garlic bread and chicken wings. And the lamb curry and rice dish left our diners fearing for food poisoning. One of the dishes had a half eaten tangerine segment on the side! Excluding one kind server that took some money off our menu, the service was also terrible. Despite an empty restaurant the server missed two dishes, and one server rudely dropped an unexplained appetiser on the table. I’m disgusted that with money off we paid £80, after the owner agree to remove just £10 from our meal despite very poor quality and service. Would I recommend? Absolutely not. "I've been visiting Corvi's for a few years now and it's definitely my favourite chip shop. Really superb food cooked to order, with chips that taste as good as chips can. They're cooked the right way in a classic fryer and take me right back to how the chips tasted from my local chippie 50 years ago. Very friendly owners and staff and a place where I especially enjoy sitting in, for an excellent meal in a fantastic old style chip restaurant. I can't recommend Corvi's highly enough !"

"This restaurant is one of the top three Indian restaurants I've tried between the West coast of Scotland and Falkirk. I have sampled many Indian restaurants and takeaways in North Ayrshire and around Glasgow, but most of them use too much ginger or are overly spicy, ruining the curry. However, I decided to give this place a try and I was blown away by the amazing quality of the food. The chicken curry was one of the best I've ever had, with tender and high-quality chicken that stood out from the rubbery chicken used in other places. The curry had a lovely taste, without being overwhelmed by ginger or excessive spices. The sauce had a delicious flavor that I hope they never change. This restaurant, located in Falkirk, is one of the three Indian restaurants I consider good in the area – the others being in Cumbernauld and also in Falkirk. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. Overall, a truly amazing dining experience that you shouldn't miss. Thank you!"

"Been twice now since they introduced their separate vegan menu and both times were so tasty! Tried the Mac and cheese and the BBQ pulled jackfruit fajitas! They have a sorbet as dessert currently but the staff said they are working on introducing other dessert options! Also really like that the vegan menu is a veganised version of their main menu they've put so much effort in"

"Disappointing from the moment we entered. Had to wait longer than expected to be seated and the waitress took far too long to take our drinks order, despite the restaurant not being at capacity. When she did arrive we had already decided on our starters and main course and ordered everything together. The starters arrived but we still had no drinks, very embarrassing from a restaurant point of view. The starters were fine but the mains were way below par. Pasta was slimy and oily and contained only had 3 small meatballs. The included bacon was fatty and undercooked. There was not one single checkback from the waitress. Overall, a very poor experience and we won't be in a hurry to return."

"OK, so this is ‘just’ a Pizza Hut review, right? And they’re all the same, aren’t they? Well in my experience they’re pretty much of a muchness. BUT this is the first visit we’ve had to this particular restaurant. From the moment we opened...the door and were second in the queue and the Manager checked on us and said he’d be right back to the moment we left and he made a point of thanking us and saying goodbye, we had the best experience. So good that I made a point of reviewing which for ‘just’ a Pizza Hut I wouldn’t normally do. This Manager, and his team, were non stop. The polite and efficient service, the explanations of the process of ordering and paying, the check backs, the food quality. Service with a smile and a chat. Not too intrusive just right. The whole lot was just top drawer. Had a few word with the Manager to pass my thoughts on to him. Wanted him to know first hand that his own very obvious work ethic was so positive to see and obviously rubbed off on his team. He said most had been with him for years. He also said that he was leaving the firm after years early retirement. He was an example to his staff. Leading from the front. Down in the trenches with them. Everyone deserves to retire, but if you take our advice Pizza Hut senior management, you’ll convince this man to stay and have him train your Managers on how to not only manage, but how to lead. Not on how to deal with the public but how to meaningfully engage with the public. My wife and I are both senior managers in different public facing organisations. This guy was just exceptional. I think his name was Stuart/Stewart. Sometimes the simplest things mean the most. So, as I said this wasn’t ‘just’ a Pizza Hut review because this wasn’t ‘just’ a normal Pizza Hut."

"A massive shame that I 'm having to give this place a 1 star review. Today was the fifth time I 've visited Antonio 's and every previous time the staff have been lovely, a little bit slow, but very polite and the food has been brilliant. However, today I went as I always eat here when visiting Falkirk and I was shown a table. The restaurant was quite busy but not overly busy and there was 3 waitresses for maybe 15 tables. We were given a menu and after about 10 minutes we were actively looking around for someone to take our order. The young girl who had showed us to our table kept passing us but was too busy cleaning other tables around us and just ignored us. She spent ten full minutes cleaning two small tables of maybe 2 cups and plates per one. After waiting for 25 minutes I got up and went to the till asking if I could just order here and was told rudely 'to sit down and wait as she 'll be two minutes '. I just walked out after that interaction and I sadly will not be returning. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"The service was slow, and we were informed at 8:30 that we had to leave immediately because the next customers were already here. They mentioned a problem with the system, but only after we requested to finish our drinks first. We were told that we had to leave right away for the next customers. I think we should have been informed about this from the beginning and given a warning, as we thought we had the table for 2 hours as stated on the OpenTable app. The next customers should have been told that we could have an extra 10 minutes to finish our drinks, instead of being told that we had to leave immediately."

"The bar isn't very large, but it offers ample seating, is cozy, and has a distinct aesthetic that creates a welcoming atmosphere—I felt right at home. We stopped by on a Friday night and were surprised to find it relatively quiet, though they were doing their best to entertain the roughly 15 customers with a laid-back DJ set accompanying the pizzas and cocktails. The music wasn't too loud, allowing for conversation, and the DJ primarily played 90s Britpop while intermittently mingling with the patrons. He seemed like a friendly guy who genuinely wanted everyone to enjoy themselves. We decided to order a couple of pizzas. I went for the Breakfast at Eisenberg's, which featured ham, mushrooms, and pepperoni, while my partner chose a Margherita with added ham. We discovered that the 9-inch and 12-inch pizzas are two for the price of one when you dine in, while they also offer 16-inch pizzas for delivery. We ended up ordering two pizzas and two pints for just £20. The pizza crusts were thin and crispy, and the toppings were quite tasty. The only downside? I could have easily eaten another half pizza! Perhaps I was hungrier than I realized, but it made me think that North Star might be a better spot for lunch rather than dinner (though I will definitely be back for cocktails)."

"Frankie & Benny's in Falkirk provides an exceptional family-friendly environment! We have become regulars and cannot think of any other restaurant that can match their exceptional service and warm welcome. The staff are all exceptional, particularly our waiter, John Paul, who is a true leader. He not only respects his colleagues but also works collaboratively with them. I have witnessed him skillfully coaching team members and handling difficult situations with grace. His customer service is outstanding and he communicates effectively in every situation. He ensured that our daughter's dietary needs were met and kept us informed every step of the way. Each visit to the restaurant leaves me impressed by his dedication and communication skills. I highly recommend visiting Frankie & Benny's in Falkirk for a fantastic family experience or to witness a master at work. It truly is a class act and a wonderful experience."

"So yesterday I went for lunch at the canalside and it has seriously went downhill. I posted a wee comment on their page without going into detail all I said was I was disappointed, as I don't believe in totally slating a business on fb. However they have now deleted my post and blocked me from their page so I am taking it upon myself to leave an honest review. 21 pounds for 2 course isn't the cheapest so I expected something at least edible. I can't fault the waiting staff as they did their job and the food was served promptly as we explained we were in a bit of a rush. I ordered the tomatoe and roast pepper soup for starter and the festive burger for main. Bearing in mind this was 21 quid.... The soup was basically as though they'd opened a tin of tomatoes and heat it up. Nothing more, nothing less. I'd have put up with that as a starter if the burger that came next was actually so bad that we were sniffing it before every bite as there was strange whiff to the meat which us panicking it was off, which we really shouldn't be having to do. We ended up leaving it . The only part which was actually good was the pigs in blankets on top. The point of my post is why can't I post an honest criticism about food which I paid good money for without getting blocked. All I said on the page that they have went down hill. Any decent business would have wanted to know what the issue was in the hope to resolve it for future potential customers. Make your own mind up but I won't be back ."
