"I can honestly say I’ve never had a worse dining experience in my life. The menu is very confusing and printed in basic word. There is no indication when booking of the menu being mostly a Malaysian menu. If you’re going for a classic pub meal as we were, this is not the restaurant for you. We would have been happy to trial some Malaysian cuisine, but the menu was so confusing and complicated it put half of our diners off this selection. No guidance or enthusiasm from the servers either might I add. Regardless of what we ordered off the menu, the food quality was terrible. The fish was mushy and tasteless, the gammon steak minimally cooked, frozen garlic bread and chicken wings. And the lamb curry and rice dish left our diners fearing for food poisoning. One of the dishes had a half eaten tangerine segment on the side! Excluding one kind server that took some money off our menu, the service was also terrible. Despite an empty restaurant the server missed two dishes, and one server rudely dropped an unexplained appetiser on the table. I’m disgusted that with money off we paid £80, after the owner agree to remove just £10 from our meal despite very poor quality and service. Would I recommend? Absolutely not. Be aware that any good reviews for this establishment are historical and do not represent the present management. Absolutely diabolical service. We left before receiving any food although other customers who had arrived after us were being fed

I recently dined at this restaurant for lunch and had an amazing experience. The price per person was very reasonable, ranging from £1-10. The food was delicious, I would rate it a 5 out of 5. The service was also impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, with a comfortable and inviting ambiance. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a satisfying dining experience.

"Horrendous attitude from one of the owners/family helpers called Lee. I would like to highlight that Sonia provided a professional customer service experience in comparison to Lee. Placed the order at arrived at When I called at to find out...what was happening, Sonia offered to phone the driver to find out the situation for me, which was good. Whilst waiting on Sonia phoning me back, I received a call from Lee asking me to tell her what the problem was, I explained her colleague was dealing with it she then went on to explain how busy they are, which is understandable and I understand the challenges businesses have at the moment, owning my own. But there was no apology. In fact Lee (who at this point I did not know was the owner/family helper until Sonia told me) went on to tell me it was my fault I ordered from Just eat as they had their own orders to fill first?? Eh hello? It doesn't matter how I place my order, I chose your business to order my dinner from!. Anyway I explained to her that I didn't like her tone of voice and felt she was being really aggressive with me. She asked me if I wanted to cancel my order,I said we have been waiting two hours, so we may as well wait, however she was very forceful and kept saying no I will cancel, I will cancel and then decided to put the phone down on me. I couldn't believe how I had been treated as a customer! Then Sonia kindly phoned back to apologise and I asked whoever that was, should not be in a customer role and I was shocked to be spoken to in that way. She then went on to inform me Lee is the owner/family helper! Shocking. Sonia asked for my details and explained she would let the other owner know what had happened. hours later, I've not heard a peep from the restaurant. So I've made the decision to leave a review after explaining to them, this is what I would do. After waiting over and a half hours and using them for the first time, the food was below average. The pakoras and rice was nice, however the chicken korma was inedible, it was stringy and chewy, the lamb bhuna sauce was nice, the lamb was fatty and chewy. So all that wait for pakora and rice and sauce. We won't be back! Horrendous way to speak and treat customers!"
