"We visited today for lunch, two adults and our son who is 7. We hadn’t booked a table but Liz kindly said we could sit in the bar area which was actually perfect as Alfie got to watch some football as we waited! Liz was amazing because I had mentioned the I was doing slimming world and she was amazing at recommending things that wouldn’t be too detrimental to my diet!!! My other half had the mussels. Followed by the streak pie which he said was the best steak pie ever! I had the minestrone soup followed by chicken Arrabbiata pasta both lovely. And as for the kid’s menu it was huge he had the mozzarella dippers, a juicy cheese burger chips followed by chocolate fudge cake! Safe to say Alfie was stuffed! Such a lovely atmosphere we will be back! Thanks"

it was nice, oh amd the hand cut chips were amazing service was also great. make sure to book or call as it tends to be busy, it is also not massive, so can be hard to get a table. highly recommended

Heard great things about the food in Massimos from friends and family so had to go and try for myself. Staff were welcoming and attentive from the start, the meal was delicious, couldn`t find a fault.

Visited on Sun night , Firstly dont let the outside put you off . Food was super enjoyed by us all . Staff were friendly and very attentive. I loved the scallops for starters they were amazing. Deffo worth a try.

my first impression was a very small restaurant with not much atmosphere. large menu choice 2 courses £15.50 and 3 courses, £19 approx. the service was excellent and all 7 of us enjoyed the appetizers and main courses. overall we really enjoyed this restaurant.

We were in the bar area watching the football and fancied some food after it. I popped in and spoke to Liz and she managed to squeeze us in after the game. First class in every way yet again and the place is second to none. There’s not many restaurants that you can’t fault and this is certainly one of them. Thanks again!
