"My friend and I decided to meet for coffee in Topsham last week, my friend had been recommended Matthews Hall Café so we decided to give it a try it is quite small about 7 tables but the food we ordered was excellent. I had a cheese scone with butter and my friend had a fruit scone they were wonderful and reasonably priced and warm very mouth watering and the Coffee Latte was also reasonably priced and large. I would certainly recommend this place. An I will most definitely be returning."

pleasant cafe for coffee but unfortunately the ladies serving are not welcoming and seem unable to raise a smile,Used to be owned by two nice chaps who always made us feel comfortable.Do they want our custom?

Whilst passing through Topsham decided to try this place, was not disappointed! Had a bacon, brie and cranberry mayo toastie which was slightly personalised to my liking. Possibly the tastiest lunch to date. Shall definitely be returning! View menu

Me and my daughter had a fab cheese tea. Delicious cheese scone, cheddar cheese and devon fire chutney, then finished it off with a lovely moist lemon drizzle. Personally found the staff warm and friendly. Will definitely visit again when we are in Topsham.

Lovely cafe with friendly staff, can get very busy in summer and staff were very happy and helpful to accommodate dietry requirements. Veggie/Vegan chilli non carne was delicious!All the cakes are homemade and I had to try a famous scone to take home and I highly reccomend!it’s a little hidden in the entrance to the town hall, but you have to try it out!
