"Arrived for our first visit to this restaurant a few minutes before our 8:00 p m booking, but the table was not ready as the diners from an earlier booking were lingering; we were about to discover why. Invited by the proprietor to take a drink in the lounge of the pub below and 20 minutes later the gentleman came down to collect us and our drinks. For starters we shared a tandoori combination and for mains we chose a couple of the signature dishes supplemented with a dhal, portion of basmati rice and a nan. Not only would I would describe the taste of the food as outstanding, but the quantity of food was also ample. We really took our time to enjoy all the flavours. It is quite a small restaurant having perhaps 35 or so covers. It seemed to us that there were many regular diners as there was a fair deal of friendly conversation with the staff, but this did not delay or spoil the service in any way. All in all we had a splendid meal and a super evening."

What a wonderful find. Very friendly staff, wonderful food and good atmosphere. The other diners were obviously regular customers and friendly which made the whole experience enjoyable. Highly recommend.

We visited as it was close to our hotel and it couldn’t have been better. The team were so friendly and welcoming and as for the food I’ve not had a better Indian in a long time. If you get chance to give it a try I’d recommend it 120%.

found this restaurant by chance when staying locally for takeaway enjoyed it so much booked for table in restaurant to see what the place was like. food is excellent and has been every time. Staff are very attentive and friendly, taking time to explain the dishes to help make choices. Would definitely recommend both visit and takeaway services.

I discovered this family run restaurant by pure accident one evening last year whilst out with family and friends . This restaurant has now become our only go to Indian restaurant. The staff are really friendly and the food is out of this world . If you are thinking of going for an Indian please try it , you will not go anywhere else it’s that good …….
