"A lovely place with great service first and foremost, and the place is always very clean throughout. There is a restaurant in one half but you can also eat your food in the bar or the nice, large seating area outside which has a nice view of the hills. The food is very fresh and good quality and tapas are available during the day (restaurant opens after 19:30). The place is on one side of the River in a small settlement, the best way to get here from Arenas de Iguna trainstation on foot is to walk along the river. There is a T.V. in the bar area, a public pay phone, fruit machine, games machine, darts machine, cigarette machine and ice cream cooler. You should note: The staff will keep the bar open as late as you like at night, don’t think you have to leave because you’re the last person there after 22:30, mon fri many locals hit the hay early due to work. This is a rural bar so you get all sorts of clientele from the macho Vaqueros (cowboys), families, the local priest having his afternoon snifter, and the very occasional spooky bumpkin. But all said, this bar is a hub of the community and everyone drinks and eats here, so it goes without saying if you are staying locally and you need anything then this is the place to ask. There is a garage next door and the church is down the road, the nearest shop is a 10 minute walk. (Good luck with some of the dogs in these parts! The dangerous ones are tied up… Hopefully). It should be noted – dogs are not allowed inside the pub however. Kids are welcome There is a wheelchair ramp but no designated disabled toilet."
