"I'm working in the South of France this summer so have visited this bar 3 times within the past month or so. Unfortunately I've been very disappointed each time. The staff are rude, abrupt and do not know how to smile or speak to customers (apart from the English man who works in the evenings). The first time I took my parents and siblings, the staff literally ignored us as the bar and allowed local customers to push I'm and served them all first. It took over 30 minutes to get served, then after speaking to the English man he soon sorted us out. The food was expensive and tasteless, I can't believe I paid €11 for nachos. The second 2 times I went for breakfast which again was overpriced. The woman serving was extremely rude and blunt, she acted like serving us was unreasonable and hard work. The food was undercooked and all served at different times. I've tried this place numerous times as I want it to be a pleasurable experience as the menu is good, but ive been disappointed every time so will not return."

nice to drink a drink, to find some animation out of season, but very medium level restoration.

This time the food was pretty tasteless and pale I am afraid. The prices were not low enough to compensate for the poor food and the wine offered. Sad.

place simple pub brewery in kitchen but very suitable. Low price ratio value interesting price.Very good to be open all year round unlike most professionals in the Gulf of St Tropez View menu

We waited 10 minutes before we were in trouble. for the rest the catal hamburger cold is already not terrible but after 45 minutes it becomes immangeable. the bbq chicken a misery, the poor, he died 2 times a lot of customers, only had an haste, run away.

fast service and beautiful plates, well packed and generous portions, prices seen the place and seasons more than easy. with friends we had very good and tender Provencal calamars and Chile con carne, a nice and hearty dish with what it takes to spice, nice and very copied also the hot goat salad, good prices regarding what is proposed here. We'll probably be back. View menu

bad evening, excessive waiting, an hour and a half seems really too much especially for 3 hamburgers and a steak, in addition with two small children. I forget the sympathy of the waitress (it was perhaps a bad day!), to pass to a passable food for burgers (15€) and bad for the steak too cooked and very hard (22€), the beer was correct (€7) but the nail was well the bottle of a half litre of water at 5€, ok we are in the grimaud port but it seemed a little! Never again, then go inside the grimaud port, they pick the same but at least the frame is much better.

"Popped up to this lovely restaurant this week. First things first, if you're going to come in the summer, it's indoors so expect it to be warm and expect to need to book. Also, bring cash. On to the main info. Didier who owns the restaurant is someone my family met when we stumbled on him at a restaurant 15 years ago. Over the years, we have never missed visiting him if we can. The man is worth visiting any restaurant for alone. He is such a character and so charming. Now with his piano in his restaurant, we love to hang around later on in the evening and play/sing a bit of impromtpu jazz too.The setting is cut into the rock and this is exposed in some of the back areas of the restaurant. The walls are beset with lots of colourful and interesting pieces of art that he has gradually accumulated. Expect to be sitting close to fellow guests and on odd chairs with odd patterned china but it's all part of the fun. The food: mum, the pescatarian, loved the aubergine starter and the fish on offer. The lasagne starter was to die for and the chicken so tasty! My bf thought the chorizo on his pizza was incredible. And the lamb gorgeous too. The pain Tchinch was soooo good and a dessert fiend's best friend. A bit like a Belgian waffle. The moelleux au chocolat is always decadent. The food portions are substantial and for the 31 euros for a three course menu (which does not restrict your choices), a bargain! I didn't indulge much this week in wine but I did try Didier's and it was lovely. The upstairs: part of the roof is missing upstairs in the chill out area and it's lovely and cool. Wonderful for relaxing on the sofas/chairs for a complimentary shot of limoncello at the end of the evening.Verdict: this is a lovely hidden gem set in an ancient village with more character than you can find elsewhere in the Côte d'Azur."
