"I had an amazing first experience at this restaurant! My family from Antwerp, Belgium, visited, and they asked me to arrange a surprise meal for my wife, who was unaware of their presence in the UK. Booking a table was easy through Instagram since I no longer use Facebook. The staff were friendly and welcoming upon our arrival. The food was outstanding; we sampled each other's dishes to enjoy a variety of flavors. I ordered the legendary Railway Lamb, while my wife opted for the Chicken Tikka. Both dishes were bursting with fresh flavors. It was a lovely touch when the chef came over to greet us. We will definitely be returning soon to try the signature Biriyani!"

"A summary would be amazing food, lovely atmosphere and perfect service. This is a great place to enjoy proper home cooked food. We had a combination for food from the normal menu and some specials. First the normal menu offered delicious loaded fries, perfectly cooked pancakes with nutella, the Club sandwich was packed with filling and the excellent OM Eggs Benny. Also from the normal menu you must try the Sweet Potato Bhaji's ! From the specials we had the Mac and Cheese with brisket which was wow but i loved my Sausage Grilled Cheese sandwich which was amazing ! Coffee was great and this is just a lovely place to eat !"

"After enjoying multiple meals at this restaurant, we decided to try their Sunday lunch. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. The pork was tough and impossible to eat, the Yorkshire pudding was rubbery, and the roast potatoes seemed to have been reheated. The lamb shank was overcooked and lacked flavor. Our complaint was brushed off by a bar staff member, who claimed that the manager was unavailable and that the pub was too busy to address our concerns. Our email to the pub was also ignored."

"One of my beloved dining spots in Slaithwaite. We often go for breakfast and lunch. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is lively, with a diverse mix of patrons of all ages. The food is consistently outstanding. The breakfast burritos are a morning favorite, while the loaded hot dogs in the afternoon are superb. Let's not forget the grilled cheese sandwiches, which are my wife's top choice. The freshly ground coffee selection is also delicious. Parking-wise, Aldi is a good option for free parking during the week, but it may be more challenging to find a spot on weekends. However, there is plenty of street parking available, though it may require a short walk."

"Unfortunately, the two staff members at the bar were very unhelpful. They seemed to lack basic customer service skills and informed me that their manager was not on duty, so they couldn’t process my refund without permission. After waiting for three hours, I followed up, and they still hadn’t resolved the issue. I was assured that someone would be there the next morning to handle my refund. When I returned the next day, a third staff member named Kevin told me he was also unable to issue a refund and advised me to email the manager instead. Now, a week has passed, and despite emailing twice, I still haven’t received a response. I strongly advise against staying here. The customer service is appalling, and the staff clearly lack the necessary training to assist guests effectively. I paid for bed and breakfast, and neither was delivered. This situation is simply unacceptable, and it’s astounding that management has not bothered to reply to my emails in over a week!"
