"We had a really delicious meal and perfectly prepared cocktails at this nightspot that’s often overlooked by those who are more interested in dinner and drinks than concluding a late night out. Past 10pm there’s always a line, but from 7-9 it’s super easy to get a table and is just a nice place for an Asian fusion dinner. Drink prices can be stiff, but then again, so are the drinks. We were happy with our well prepared gin Martinis, not always the case in London, and avoided the exotic “Flaming Ferrari.” The items on the somewhat abbreviated food menu are really delicious and reasonablly priced for S Ken and Chelsea. The mains and sides are well prepared and simple dishes like the steamed whole fish are delicate and light. There is a small dim sum selection that we really enjoyed. The also a flash fried green beans are a signature dish. There is a really light (not oily and delicious version of Singapore noodles, but under a different name, listed as a side dish along with fried rice. If you like vermicelli rice noodles with curry seasoning, you might enjoy it. The proprietress Gwen is the young and charming daughter of one of the restaurants’s two founders and who inherited Nam Long. (Although the old and antique reviews bring down the overall rating, that’s a classic TA problem in my experience. Namely, 20 year old reviews that have nothing to do with the present even if they might have been fair then. I get that the occasional bad reviews will still happen when the inevitable unruly patron is turned away at midnight. But by that time we will be at home in bed after enjoying a delicious dinner in the earlier evening."

Really enjoyed the food, plenty of choice, great atmosphere, pleasant staff, clean, must try the famous Flaming Red Ferrari drink. Many have tried and is a game changer.

we booked a table and they confirm it. We went to the restaurant and it was closed. open table did not seem to know anything about the restaurant closing day. Really dissapointed with the restaurant and also with opentable

Popped in for a cocktail whilst we waited for our Noor Jahan takeway. Tried a Mojito which was good but some of the cocktails are lethal see the Flaming Ferrari photo below. The place was empty at 8:00pm but may liven up later on.

Ive been coming here for nearly 10 years now, it has moved along side with its strong history smoothly. Always happy to bring friends from out of town here the food is delicious and the atmosphere is fun. Nice to get here a bit early for dinner and wait for the place to fill up over the evening. friendly service and nothing OTT! View menu

where do i start. from the « tofu » summer rolls with fake meat thing with overpowering foul rye bread taste, to the chewy greasy chili beef thing and that disgusting sauce. i ordered choi sum and got tasteless pak choi instead. will never order from there again and i advise anyone thinking of going there to think twice before wasting ur money, time and food.

My friend and I had one of the best dinners at Nam Long. We were welcomed by friendly staff the moment we arrived and seated straight away. The food is one of the best I’ve had in London. Highly recommend the dim sum dishes, they were all great. Other highlights were the beef tataki, Saigon chicken curry and the ceviche. All were super flavourful and delicious. Service throughout the evening was also faultless. The bar started filling up later into the evening and the general atmosphere was vibrant and fun so we stayed for a few cocktails which were also great! We’ll be back again for sure. Highly recommend Nam Long to everyone.
