"This was my favorite place in Berlin. Why not 5 stars? Let me explain. First the food is good. Not super tasty, but it is fresh. Plus they were able to offer several choices that were without onions and garlic. It is run by a family, so they are sometimes overwhelmed by the crowd. And it's small, so on a busy day, you might not get space in the main dining room. They have a few tables in the back, but that area is stuffy. The restaurant is reasonably clean, but this is one area where I feel they could be better. Still, considering my experiences with Indian restaurants all over Europe that served food with onions and/or garlic despite my requesting it without, this place did very well."

Dieser Restaurant wird Sie nicht enttäuschen. Die Atmosphäre ist top. Das Essen schmeckt unfassbar gut und ist sehr vielfältig. Der Service war wirklich unvergleichbar. Es wird explizit auf jeden Kundenwunsch eingegangen und man wird Rundum-versorgt. Ich kann das Restaurant nur jedem empfehlen.

Es war einfach himmlisch! Wir sind gerade hier im Urlaub und wollen sehr gerne multikulturelle Speisen essen. Hier bekommt ihr Essen und Geschmacksrichtungen die ihr so nicht kennt. Angefangen bei der Bedienung, super nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ... wenn ich könnte würde ich 100 Sterne geben. Es war einfach super. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Sehr freundlicher Service und sehr gutes Essen. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen Drink und Papadam mit verschiedenen Saucen. Die Gerichte waren sehr ansprechend angerichtet und haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Zum Hauptgang gab es neben dem Reis auch noch Nan. Mango Lassi war ausgezeichnet. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Dieses Restaurant ist absolut empfehlenswert. View menu

Im Nameste gibt es sehr gutes indisches Essen von vegan, vegetarisch bis zu Fleisch. Zur Begrüßung bekommt man einen alkoholfreien Drink und als Appetizer Papadam mit Chutneys. Zum Mittagsmenü, hier kann man zwischen einer kleinen Auswahl an Gerichten wählen, wird eine leckere Suppe mit Brot serviert. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch das Brot nach dem Rezept der Mama (siehe Bild). Vorzugsweise ist dieses am Abend zu bestellen.

The food is good, but the service is terrible. The waiter lectured me for a few minutes about what a professional waiter he was. My guests and I grew more and more uncomfortable, but that did not stop him. He continued with his lecture. When we ordered I asked him not to serve me any salad. He did anyway. We all agreed that the waiter was trying to get the better of me. This was my fourth visit to the restaurant in two months, but it was the last one. The service used to be great, but we don't need to spend money to feel as uncomfortable as we did last time we were there. Even the food tastes bad when you have to eat it in a place like that.
