Good restaurant to support the locals. Building is simple and characteristic, although needs some updating. Staff are still young so don't expect world class service, but good effort nonetheless. The food was delicious, and the server was very friendly. Unfortunately, it was quite cold in the restaurant, with no heating on. My husband and I ended up sitting in our coats for dinner, which wasn’t very romantic since it was our wedding anniversary. I just wanted to get back home to warm up! The food was outstanding, earning a top rating of 5 out of 5. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The service was equally impressive, with attentive staff who made sure our experience was seamless and enjoyable. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, creating the perfect setting for a lovely evening out. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant!

We cannot wait to come back to Namaste Gurkha and we couldn’t recommend it enough. What a brilliantly authentic restaurant/take away, where you really feel you’re getting a slice of proper Gurkha cuisine. We were blown away by the food (see photos for what we ordered). We had never eaten here or Gurkhan before, and the hostess recommended what we should try. The atmosphere was lovely, very quiet, incense lit, and a in a small high street house. The service was fab, waited a good amount of time before checking on food, bringing next courses. And they gave us some takeaway trays to take home our food.
