"Honestly, the food was pretty disappointing; perhaps it was just an off night. It was average at best—the steak was quite fatty and the chips were overly greasy. The service was acceptable, but nothing special. The atmosphere was also marred by being seated right next to two other tables, making it feel like our conversations were intruded upon by the other couples nearby. These small issues really detracted from what we had hoped would be a pleasant evening out. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5."

After a brisk walk yesterday, we popped in for some lunch and what a lovely surprise !! Comfortable pub with a rustic yet modern interior !! Nice menu, very nice staff and well worth a visit !!

We held a surprise Birthday meal here for my Dad last night. Fantastic evening, lovely food, brilliant service and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The serving staff where brilliant with the little ones bringing them chocolate eggs out from the Easter bunny. Would defiantly recommend and will be returning in the future. Thank you for helping make it a memorable evening.

Had another lovely meal here today. Have never been disappointed with the food or drinks we have had here. Food portions are extremely generous, with a good meal selection, all very reasonably priced. Due to the weather conditions we made a slight change to our booking and as usual Ali was more than accommodating. Definitely will continue to come here, always made to feel welcome and is very dog friendly.

First time at The White Horse and we had a lovely time. Being vegans, we checked ahead that they had choices for us for both main and dessert and they did, which were delicious! The staff were really nice, very helpful and attentive. One of the staff even brought my dog a few biscuits even though I didn't ask (I never like to assume so that was a nice touch : If ever in the area again, we will be back! Food: 5
