Naoko - Menu

One my side tasteless salmon and awkward salad. My wife had more luck with the bento Bad staff manners and stained dishes having to be changed.

Excellent choice of set menus, very big portions and great side dishes. For around 20EUR per person we had more food than we could eat + drinks.

Small side street very close to Place de Clichy. As usual, decoration is nothing to write home about. But sushis and sashimis are really fresh, yakitoris are tasty, service if friendly, and prices are moderate. View menu

Not a 'fancy' spot - full of young children. Bright and sterile setting - not a romantic spot in the least. However very popular and no wonder. Fish was super fresh and servings were very extravagant. Had a 'doggy bag' large enough for lunch next day. They even pack in some soy and wasabi in the left overs! A good spot if hungry - like fish - and had enough French food!

We got "served" by the most surly waitress I've seen in Paris (the other waiters were nicer). Tempura was OK, the Gyozos (kind of panfried ravioli) were nice, but the Sushi rather below average, rice very compact and fish very thin. We were rather disappointed since my friend had been here several times before and always liked it. Maybe just before Christmas was not a good time?

The staff was unbearable rude. They basically threw our food to the table. 6 of them were chatting in the restaurant, looking bored and unwilling to take care of their only 2 customers - my friend and I. The food itself is well below average. I don't think they are Chinese, I speak Chinese but I don't understand what they were talking about. I think it's more like Korean but with strong accent. Nothing bad about this place, but nothing to make it stand out either. Food was adequate, bento du jour could have been better; lukewarm when it should have been hot, sushi average, sashimi fresh, miso soup thin.But after three weeks in Puglia it was great to eat non-Italian food on our first night in Paris. OK for a change, but unless it's your local sushi place I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

Large selection of set menus, sushi, sticks etc. Bright and clean interiors, nothing exciting. Price reasonable for Paris. Service a bit special, waitress mostly sitting on nearby table and then having dinner with friends. Had Bento box, sushi fine, sashimi fine, salmon and chicken also ok. Rice could be better. Miso soup and salad included, not so fine. Short walk up to Sacre Ceur for a late night beer from the local salesmen - ice cold only 10 euros for 3 - special price for you my friend.

As I love Japanese food we decided to give this Japanese place (run by Chinese) a try. The staff didn't really pay any notice to the customers - a disagreement in the kitchen was overheard by customers but nobody seemed to care about it.As most dishes contain rice, Sushi, Chirashi and so on, one expect this to be cooked properly. The rice of both the Chirashi and Sushi was undercooked and we left it for what it was. We did send the Sushi back to the kitchen, one again we got Sushi with undercooked rice. The Agadashi - a tofu dish - based on a Tentsuyu broth made of Dashi, Mirin (a.o.) was way too salty - we decided not to eat it. Probably the worst was a (huge) unfresh seaweed salad - drench...
