"I go to this place every day when I can. The staff are the most pleasant people I have ever met. They treat me like a queen. I couldn't say a bad word about any of them. I am disabled and they go out of...their way to carry my tray to my favourite table if I can get it lol. I am also vegan and they let me keep my dairy free cheese in their fridge for my sub (not many places would do that). I have eaten the same sub for years now and never once have I not enjoyed it. Lately they got vegan pate and it's delicious along with my cheese and loads of great salad stuff. I can't believe that anyone could say anything bad about this place or the staff."

"We were down buying a car in the town and after a long drive down early in the morning we stumbled across this place beautiful exterior and equally impressive interior. My partner loved the artowrk around the walls, everywhere you turn there is something else to look at. Food fantastic, coffee too and the staff are very friendly welcoming. If we are ever up north of ireland again we will defintely be visitng boyds again."

"we've been going to flash for years. it is a popular takeaway chip shop in ballymoney that offers the usual chip shop menu. they can pay by cash or card. we usually go to a chip tea on a Friday or Saturday night. it can. much to do to time, although they can order via the phone for collection or delivery. the staff are usually friendly, although there are a few duur, unfriendly members. until recently it was always quite good with a uniform standard of food. in the last months it has become very expensive (as everywhere), but the main problem we have experienced is our order wrong. this can range from missing ingredients (e.g. no cheese in a cheeseburger) to items that are completely missing, although we have paid for them. they can understand an occasional error, but this has become more and more common. Unfortunately we live several miles away, so it is not realistic to go back to the shop when we discover the missing items at home."

"Ordered online and came to collect 20 mins or so afterwards. They did not realise my order had been placed. Instead of being honest and explaining, I was told 2 minutes, 2 minutes while someone was called from the back, clearly the cook, who proceeded to prepare my food. I won 't elaborate on what I saw as I 'm sure some would be put off going back there. Needless to say, as a chef myself, who has professionally prepared Indian food, I won 't be and my order was binned as soon as I walked out with it. This was such a shame. I have heard nothing but fantastic things about this place and the reviews are consistently good. I hope for their sake, my experience was an anomaly."

"Having eaten at the Kelly's complex numerous times throughout the years I was greatly disappointed by the food in the new restaurant the white pheasant. We decided to try a few local places before we booked a very special dinner for a family member returning home for a visit from Australia after 30 years. I'm so glad we decided to do this before booking such an important family get together. The menu is simply pretentious. It speaks of finer dining but in reality it is just the food from the same local suppliers as everywhere else plated a bit differently with an ambitious price attached. Ours starters were bland and basic, wings, brie (inedible and tasted too mature for a brie) apple chutney was tasty though. Our mains were steaks and pizza. Steaks were all decent but the cheese is exceptionally sparse on the pizza they were the worst I've had on the North Coast in a long time. I never leave food on a plate, I just love my grub too much but I did this time, much to the shock of my family Service was attenive and very pleasant. Overall, I think this has been a change for the worse, not better. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and feels warm and inviting, the staff are pleasant and friendly but they are sadly let down by the standard of food."
