We went to this place for an aperitif with some friends. Very chic place, good food, 10+ presentation. I was looking for real French flaky brioche. And I finally found it! Orphan of Plattì 's hyper-crispy ones (now replaced by frozen ones) and not convinced of the vipers, I was satisfied. Today with some friends I got to know the aperitifs offered at the NORMAN café. I FOUND EVERYTHING EXCELLENT. Impeccable service, small plates with various foods, all fresh and very good, kind and knowledgeable staff. I will definitely return and highly recommend it. Excellent place, renovated and I believe with new management. Excellent food! A nice choice of prices and types of aperitif from the fastest, to the medium finger food to the larger and more substantial ones. It satisfies all tastes and I believe even palates. An in the inclusion of sushi pieces, but without weighing down the menu. Furthermore, being at the end of Piazza Solferino, very close to the Alfieri theatre, it is very convenient for a quick stop on an evening at the theatre. I had an aperitif at this bar. There are three formulas and we chose the €15 one. If you're hungry it's not ideal. The tastings offered were very good and refined, but the portions were very small. After the aperitif I ordered another dessert, a berry tart. In total €22, cost of the tart €7, good, but not exactly cheap. The staff was kind, but at the end of the payment, once we left the restaurant, the girl at the cash register told us that some payments were missing. We thought for a moment, but it all made sense to us, simply some desserts had been requested but they were no longer available, but they were not cancelled. Maybe the communication wasn't great. I don't know if I will return....

A place born at the beginning of the 1900s, it underlined the charm of the Belle Époque, renovated it maintains the pretension of a very elegant place and in fact, at a superficial glance, it is.
