I had a lot more out of here. the portion sizes are smaller for sunbeds and there are less meat in the main courses.

great eating as always only due to Kovid rain, very busy was waiting in restaurant, check their bill before they left I was overcharged and no 10% discount for the collection. not to check your own error. eating was always nice

for the first time they visit the 39th januar, the young girl who goes herself in front of the restaurant (staff has not turned up), what a fantastic work she did despite some extremely rude customers demanding free drinks and rabatte

"This was our first visit. I have to remind myself that this is a training environment for students but there should be someone in charge, who is identifiable to direct the students on how to present a menu and how to place a dish in front of customers. However, four courses for £35, amuse bouche counted for one course. Amouse bouche lacked any seasoning, orzo starter, well cooked but again lacked seasoning. My wife had fish, Coley, which was nice. I had chicken breast on a bed of curry sauce with hassleback potatoes. My whole dish was luke warm at best, the curry sauce was overpowering, and the hassleback potatoes were not crispy. The chicken was lovely and moist and I ordered a side of triple cooked chips which were super hot, expensive at £4, I only wish the rest of my dish was that hot. I had cheese and biscuits which consisted of Brie, blue cheese and cheddar together with chutney. My wife had Pain Perdue which was well presented and tasty. The restaurant is more like a cafe, not cosy, so don't choose it if you want a romantic evening. Overall would I go again? probably not. If you are ever near the Lake district try to book a table in the restaurant at Kendal College. On a final note; there is parking on an evening next to the college. Drive up to the barrier and press the call button, security will let you in. The barrier opens automatically on exit."
