best sushi, I got him. by far the best Japanese food I had during my life in islington. delicious food, generous portions, excellent value and very fast delivery recommended!

THE WORST SERVICE IN THE ENTIRE UK. Never order from here the service is absolutely atrocious and the staff is horrible i had to wait for over for a meal which was... a salad. NEVER USE THEM

Great place lovely food. This is my go-to chinese takeaway. The sweet and sour chicken balls are incredible and the shredded chilli beef is lovely. The portions are very generous and at a good price. Recommended!

Not just another greasy Chinese joint.... I loved Chubby Chang's which has now turned into Oriental Gourmet but the food at Oriental Gourmet is just as good! Vast menu with a mix of Sichuan, Cantonese and Shanghainese dishes.... all really well executed....!

I don't understand the reviews on here. Just had a takeaway from oriental gourmet in holloway and it was horrible. Everything tasted like it had been cooked hours ago, which I suspect it had been since our order took over an hour to arrive. Would not recommend.

terrible service and medium quality. we ordered the retreat from the oriental gourmet over the hungry house and were extremely disappointed. we were initially promised that the order would come by and then we were told the latest. we called the restaurant and it was a few minutes away! when the job finally arrived, it was very overwhelming. the chicken in the Thai green curry was boiled, the bark in the black buoyant source was fried, and the ice fried rice was rather greasy than crispy. the less about the noodles said, the better. will not be ordered again from here.

summing up: good food when ordering the right thing, but expensive to start and get yourself out of the market with hidden fees at price. Although they can get a delicious meal from oriental gourmet (if they are careful what they order – leans off from everything with oil) sad I will stop using this restaurant. their prices are at the top of the reasonable and the last two times I ordered from them, they have lined up on hidden costs. in the past I have ordered several times online from this restaurant without problem (in the process of learning their pads thai is a pale slim chaos, but their crispy bark is pretty). the last time I paid...read more

Not your average Chinese take out. Worse.. Perhaps I've been spoilt having grown up in Australia and have seen the transition from what the Chinese folk thought Australians would like to eat to being able to eat what Chinese folk eat It seems that unless you go to the top of town, this is still the case. Excellent Singapore Vermicelli. Ordered my take away from OG last night. The Singpoare vermicelli was excellent. The dish contained plenty of ingredients and much chilli power. I also ordered beef, chicken and pork dishes. Total was just over so the pork dish was free. All very tasty and they kindly omitted MSG at my request My order was via Hungry House. The salt pepper pork ribs and roast pork with chilli and black bean sauce were a little disappointing. The ribs were greasy (they tasted like they had been deep fried) and the roast pork wasn't particularly fresh it seemed. But again the Singapore fried noodles was excellent.
