Paku Paku - Menu

the tonkatsu was a boiled over, so it was a little dry. otherwise it would be great. the rice was well cooked. the black sesame and the green teeeis were good. not disturb to order the mochi.

Top! Takoyaki is delicious (which is hard to find in Nantes). Katsu is excellent, crunchy and tender as expected. The portion is quite big, too much rice for me. Should make a reservation in advance.

okay, although we didn't expect cold udon (our bad, we should have read the menu better), but it wasn't exactly good to eat. at least not in comparison to the many noodles we had in japan. not much taste. no great value for 23 euro. because we had to wait one and the gyozas were burned easily.

Each product we ordered from the mix soup to the ice cream filled mochis was full of taste and remained true to the original Japanese dishes. Considering that a 3-course meal for lunch is currently under 20 euros, this was also a great value.

Incredible choice and quality for a halal-eating dude like me For the entrée I had the Hiyayakko (chilled tōfu and the vegetarian gyozas which were excellent I had the ebi tempura udon for the main with a side of tsukemono (pickled vegetables and potato salad, the tempura was a bit oily but delicious nevertheless, and the udon sauce was superb The portions are packed so I had trouble finishing my order (and I was pretty hungry , I think a main with sides included should satisfy most people

the dinge started well, we booked a table at midday for the evening and the waitress seemed very friendly. When we came to the restaurant in the evening, the table was not properly reserved and they tried to sit with a family that. we finally had a table and had to wait ten minutes. Ok, guys, it's official: you got me! I live in France for more than a year and never ever yet met such a friendly crew! The service in this Japanese canteen is just awesome. Awesome in the meaning "warm welcoming, with good sense of humor and truly passionate about their job". This place was recommended to me by my colleague who's Japanese. And she assured me that the taste is exactly like in her motherland. Well, I totally trust her! Cause the food... the food is really really good!
