"My family has been regular customers at Papa J's in Ashford since it first opened. We have always appreciated the fast and reliable delivery, as well as the great online deals and variety of veggie, vegan, and base options. We have found Papa J's to be more to our liking than other national pizza chains. However, in recent weeks, we have noticed a decline in the quality of the pizza. Our last two orders were disappointing - soggy, greasy, and unappetising. The pizza boxes were so greasy that we couldn't even recycle them, and the cheese and toppings kept sliding off. The thin crust was particularly unpleasant, and even after days in the fridge, we couldn't bring ourselves to finish the leftovers because they just weren't very good. The only saving grace was the garlic butter dip. It is with regret that I write this review, but after these experiences, we have decided to explore other options in the takeaway market. We tried a local independent pizzeria and were much more satisfied. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Papa J's."

Certainly the most expensive pizza in the area, however you can taste the difference. Fresh ingredients perfectly prepared!

I waited for over 2 hours for just two pizzas to be delivered. Despite the long wait, the pizzas tasted as delicious and satisfying as ever. I was happy that the taste was still great.

Took nearly an hour from ordering for the pizza to arrive. The dough wasn't anywhere near as fresh as I'd have liked and the garlic sauce is like eating butter. Overall a disappointment for the price of the food.

Had a family treat take out last Saturday. 50% deal on line pizza and ordered two large 50/50 . Food ready on time and piping hot. Toppings really tasty, if not over generous, but never the less thoroughly enjoyable.

My son wanted a takeout for his birthday treat from Papa Johns. So we all had a great pizza, my son managing a large AND a small pizza (some he had for breakfast the next day and apparently it was still good). I rarely get a takeout but I will definitely go back to Papa Johns should the occasion arise.

Ordered food at 8pm at 9.20pm tried to call as tracker was saying pizza had been in the oven for half an hour, kept trying to call but no one answered, at 10.10pm gave up and had a sandwich then at 10.30 food turned up. Told them to take back and cancel order. Driver said they had been busy which is fair enough but couldn’t they text or ring to let you decide if you want to wait for 2.5 hours.

Very annoying orderiong process with the wrong address repeated four times. The order was repeated a few times. When we got the order it was wrong and cold. We called them they said they would bring the correct order and we could give them the wrong order back at the door over 45 minutes later. I will never use them again and we have since ordered from Domino pizza and were vey happy. buyer beware of this store as they have poor customer service and blame the customer for mistakes.

I have visited this restaurant a couple of times. The service is as expected, with the pizza ready in about ten to fifteen minutes after ordering. There are plenty of toppings and the prices are decent, especially with the specials. However, the advertised "better pizza" is just hype. It is not any better or worse than other pizzas (although it may be better than some on occasion). Overall, I would say it is just average. I called ahead and picked up my order, so I cannot speak to the efficiency of their delivery service.
