"We bought the same pizza here for years and just dropped back in prob 6-12 months since we last ate there, It was an extra large pizza, basically about at least three inches in on most slices had no topping at all, the ingredients and flavours weren’t quite right, it just didn’t taste like a papa johns pizza. It all shame because it use different to be great but I think the ownership changed, so it’s either that or papas johns ingredients and recipes have had a downgrade."

Everything cold! Cold chicken wings. Cold pizza, cold jalepino bites. Payed over £30. Normally get from pizza base and it arrives red hot and it's just located round the corner. Not good enough! Will not use again!!! View menu

This is the first time I've ever tried papa John's and I wasnt disappointed. I ordered a large pizza and some chicken poppers which arrived very quickly. The food was hot and tasted great. Also managed to use a promo code which made the price easier to bear

We ordered last night from this place. Told a 45 minute wait but well over an hour when our cold pizza arrived. They"d obviously cooked the pizzas when ordered and left them standing while waiting for a driver! Totally mismanaged we will never use them again.

Really did not enjoy my experience of ordering Papa Johns tonight. Was a long wait for my food and the pizza was very dry and they didn’t even put all the toppings on that I had requested. I’m so annoyed with how bad it was. I ended up throwing half the pizza away. So disappointed View menu

My first and last order. Terrible food potato tots were practically welded onto a piece of tinfoil, Pizza crust was flakey Pizza chef must of stood a mile away from pizza when putting toppings on, And don't get me started on the cinnamon less cinnamon twists, should of just called them dough balls with a drizzle of something that looked like pva glue on. Save your money and stay away

Ordered a delivery online and when I had been waiting over an hour I called up and they said they thought it was for collection and it had been sitting out for ages. They did not phone me to ask if I was coming, they did nothing. I asked for them to send a new order and they said they would not but would send the cold order out when a driver was available. Disgusted. They did not give a refund for the mistake.

"We went to Mamma's Restaurant 3/9/23 for lunch around 1:30pm. We ordered 2 senior citizens lunches, which consists of small fish and chips, mushy peas a slice of bread and butter and a pot of tea. The pot of tea arrived within a few minutes. Our son joined us and ordered Scampi and chips a portion of gravy and a can of pop. His meal and drink arrived within 10 minutes and he began to tuck in, ours had not yet arrived. A further 5 to 10 minutes later my wife's fish and chips arrived and she tucked in, mine had still not arrived. When my wife was half way through her meal, mine finally arrived, at which point I asked if we could have the bread and butter which was part of the meal deal, we waited and my wife had actually finished her meal when we asked again for the bread and butter and were told it was on its way. We waited, the same member of staff who assured me the bread and butter was on its way then brought and served the meals to the table next to us. I asked again for the bread and butter, which finally came after about another 5 minutes. By this time my wife and son had finished eating and I was almost finished. The food was good, but the service was absolutely atrocious and at a cost of almost £37 for the 3 of us, is unacceptable. Unfortunately I will not eat here again and would not recommend to anyone I know to do so, after our experience."

"Myself and my friend came here for afternoon tea. Food was very nice, cakes were nicely presented and tasted great. Scones were excellent. Service was good. The only thing I would say is the atmosphere was a bit dead. I can't remember if there was...music or not, but I remember thinking it could do with something more to make it less awkward. That being said, the food was great and the lady running it was very pleasant also. Would recommend if you fancy a quiet afternoon tea. Also, to support local businesses."

"Pre-show dinner which turned out to be an event in itself. Lovely restaurant, great ambience, good service, scrummy food and very reasonable prices. Two veggies (me and a friend) in the mix and we had wonderful food that wasn't the usual after-thought on the menu. Definite Sicilian tastes in the menu. "Nice, warm and lovely place. Already have been in there a couple of times but never had the chance to take some pictures and to write a review. The food was always good and never had any issues, the staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are decent for food and drinks. We’ll definitely revisit the place at some point."

"I have used the Ruen loads pre COVID and not only is the food excellent but the service was second to none. We visited for the first time since COVID recently and the good news is the food has not suffered at all. We had a delicious meal and as good as it always was. The staff were, are and continue to be really lovely however service pre COVID was like a military operation so precise and organised. Not quite as good this time. Drinks took a little while to arrive and simple things were just not quite right for example hot plates brought and put down for the mains which had gone cool by time the food arrived, had to ask for cutlery for mains, this wouldn’t have happened pre COVID. Don’t take this review wrong it is a great restaurant food excellent staff lovely I highly recommend it, however it’s lost a bit of its precise service. I suspect that it is operating on reduced staffing at present which might explain it but otherwise a delicious meal and really friendly staff as always and we will defo be back. It would be 6 stars from me if old service precision returns!"
