"Решили с мужем сходить в мишленовский ресторан, оценить кухню и полюбоваться завораживающим видом. При бронировании просят данные кредитной карты, без них не получится, но ничего не блокируют. Ехали из Канн, дорога красивая, живописная, место по достоинству невероятной красоты, только по одной этой причине можно сюда приехать. Сам ресторан находится при одноименном пятизвездочном отеле, все очень нарядно, утонченно, не придраться. Теперь о самом ресторане, меню и ценах. Внутри красиво все, но как в театре или музее, скучно. Тихо, миллион официантов, сомелье и прочих. Столиков немного, ты у всех на виду. Публика в основном взрослая, французская. Меню как и полагается в ресторанах такого уровня не обширное. Разделено на 4 графы: овощи, рыба, мясо и десерты. Муж выбрали цветы цуккини с абрикосами, я - артишоки с чёрной икрой, на горячее взяла морского окуня, муж- кролика. Еда- без какого-либо восторга. Перегружена подача, миллион цветов в тарелке, обязательно заливают бульоном, выглядит не эстетично, да и не могу сказать честно, что вкусно! Скорее необычно. Перед подачей блюд приносят 5-6 комплиментов, фирменный лимонный хлеб, кстати, как мы поняли, шеф-повар любитель всего лимонного, так как этот ингредиент присутствовал практически везде. После этих аппетайзеров мы уже наелись) муж брал ещё вино. Итого- счёт порядка 500 евро за 4 блюда, бокал вина, воду и тд. Судите сами)"

"A restaurant that does not pay a mine from the outside but that hides its games well. A warm welcome. Fast services and a quality of dish at the rendezvous and made with love. I've rarely eaten as well for such a price. The portions are generous, for example, the entry of salmon tartar is as large as a dish in some other restaurants. Concerning drinks, even notice. We ordered a lemonade and instead of having it in a glass we had the bottle. Which allowed us to make two whole glasses. In bonus this restaurant accepts smart box. I therefore recommend this one without hesitation and I will return it willingly."

"This was our second visit to Chateau Eza, the first a couple of years ago. Standards have definitely slipped in that time. Don't get me wrong, the food was lovely and the views are priceless, but when you're spending over 400€ on a lunch for two somehow it's the little things that make the difference. On arrival we were told that strong winds were coming so we had to sit inside. But we had a drink outside on the terrace in 35°C temperatures in direct sun - of course the parasols had been removed for safety, but there was no breeze at all, let alone the "Force 8 or 9" gales supposedly forecast. Two years ago our aperitifs were accompanied by exquisite canapés, each of which was an artform. Now we got 2 bowls of nuts and raisins and some olives. Moving inside we were lucky to sit by an open window, but it was hot and airless, still no sign of the winds. There is no air conditioning (or if so it wasn't turned on) despite a wall of south-facing plate glass windows. Fab for the views, but not the heat. We selected from the à la carts menu as the fixed price choices just didn't appeal for various reasons. After a crab Amuse Bouche (literally a teaspoonful), my husband's crab starter was lovely, but my white asparagus and lobster was tasteless. Disappointing for over 50€. We both chose yellowtail (a local white fish) with artichoke with a saffron sauce which was lovely. I had a chocolate dessert which was just OK and husband skipped dessert. A bottle of wine from the lower end of the menu was 95€. But whilst the food was good (if not epic) the service was poor. The staff were perfectly pleasant, but inattentive. Our wine was placed out of reach in a cooler, but I had to get up to serve it myself when our glasses emptied. And water was just plonked on the table, not served after the first poured glass. The ambience in the restaurant was also not 5* either - most tables were groups, all with selfie sticks, and most playing with their phones throughout. One even had earphones in! A couple of tables seemed to be families - one table of 6 had only 1 person eating whilst the rest drank water and the toddler slept in his chair. I know this is not the fault of the restaurant, but it's a shame standards have slipped in the clientele. Maybe I'm wrong expecting a 400€ meal to be more of an event? I felt overdressed in my smart dress compared to others. After our meal we asked to go out to the terrace for another drink. The parasols had reappeared (as the gales hadn't) but we had to ask twice for one to be positioned by our table. And I had to go inside twice - after our original request outside - for a cocktail menu. Again, the ambience was spoilt by groups who seem to just come for a drink to take photos of the view. One table of "lads" were dressed in football shirts, and one of them was topless. At least he had a tanned 6-pack not a beer belly!"

"Cuisine niçoise, peu de plats à la carte, gage de qualité. Excellent rapport qualité-prix du menu. Ne ratez pas les raviolis, ils ne sont pas très beaux mais qu'est-ce qu'ils sont bons!Accueil sympathique, service rapide, cuisine généreuse et raffinée, joli cadre et vue imprenable, bref à ne pas manquer si vous visitez le joli village de Falicon. Et puis la Reine Victoria venait y prendre son thé (d'où le nom), et les héritiers des propriétaires de l'époque relèvent brillamment le défi."
