Peking am Dom - Menu

we stopped on a Friday night when we wanted something else. we had a beautiful window table with a view of the cathedrale. the food was good and the menu was great, we settled down on a few meal times and enjoyed it. The rice noodle...with garnel and rice was very authentic singapur I enjoyed

Located near DOM. Great authenic Chinese food. The roasted duck was one of the best we had ever tasted. The steamed pork with salted dried mustard cabbage was extremely sumptious. The beancurd with spicy minced pork was just as tasty. Nice interior decoration. Warm and cosy inside the restaurant despite the coldness prevailing over Cologne

We were welcomed warmly by the proprietor and our meal was served quickly. Our food was attractively served and each part of the set meal for two was as delicious as promised. Only two minutes' walk from the main station of Cologne but quiet and pleasant surroundings obviously much patronised by Chinese people which is always a good indicator. View menu

we found this restaurant on the cathedrale, as most restaurants were not open on Christmas. the personal was Chinese and so we were optimistic that eating should taste good. it was not bad, fried rice, beef garnish and garnel fried...good overall decent place for Chinese food. the service was also good. only the thing is, there were no Asian desserts (was requesting a mango pudding etc.)

this resto is not a place for them if they have an impediment, as on top etagens without elevator or wheelchair access and has no toilets for disabled also no changing facility for couples with a baby while I saw there. a couple that baby outside the toilets on the floor has to change as it was the only place available that was eating ok, but have better ripped out, but the service was good

My partner had a hankering for roast duck after too many days of German sausage. The rest of us weren't so keen on Chinese and had low expectations but happily we were wrong. The food was great! The won tons were the tastiest I've ever had and all the dishes were delicious. The roast duck was crisp skinned but juicy, the eggplant with pork mince was to die for. Great chicken fried rice and beef with vegetables. The waiter had a sense of humour in a Chinese/ Germanic kind of way. We all enjoyed the food and the evening. View menu

I can understand why many Chinese tourists eat here. It's close to the Dom and Hbf and the closest/best thing they can find to soul food in the area.Just b/c it's close and the best in the area doesn't mean it's good. I'd give it 4 stars relative to other Chinese restaurants in Cologne but overall it'd only get 3 stars. Food was ok. Service was pretty decent. One hour after eating I was quite thirsty so I wonder how much MSG they use. One big complaint is that they do charge for extra rice, tea, and takeaway boxes. Tsk tsk....

we were in cold for a 2n break, I really like my Chinese food, so my wife wanted to take me at our last night. the staff was rude, not polite. we asked about the menu and were given only blunt a...word reply. eating was very bad, the ribs were lost on the plate when they were shrunk in the microwave. the wife's pork was just over edible, but my sweet and sour bun was very blanching. we had a problem with our travel mastercard, so we asked a few minutes to look at it while we worked out what the problem was. the waiter, who was very grumpy, just stood over us until we fixed the problem that did not help and we felt that this was a very bad customer service and felt under pressure. we fixed th...

This Chinese restaurant is located at thd 1st floor next to Excelsior Hotel and very close from Dom and Cologne Central Station. The decor was excellent and true to Chinese tradition. The sitting area is quite big and if you manage to get a road side view table nothing like it. The food is reasonably priced and you have very wide choice of menu. We started with hot and sour soup with sea food and fried chicken wanton. Soup was nice and hot and wanton was crispy and tasty.
