"This new restaurant is located in trendy Mitte. The good news is that its relatively hipster free and there is a good mix of patrons. Guest are quite international and so is the whole restaurant.Like it's sister Pantry, this restaurant could also be in New York or London, but it still got this Berlin twist. The staff is lovely. Very welcoming and friendly. Not the usual Berlin snottiness but genuine, casual friendliness. Very pleasant. But then the food. I admit, I was a bit sceptical when I learned about the concept. German Tapas? It really works though. The small dishes are really well prepared and presented. The quality of the food is amazing and the different flavours all come together really really nice. You share all dishes and thus can taste a great variety. This will definitely be one of our new favourites in Berlin."

tapas german is called here, for example: narrow, curry sausage, chess-fried chicken pieces, panned salmon strips, kartoffel salad, gurkensalat, red-bete salad to name just a few. all around 4 to 5 euro. very appealing served and appetizing. the atmosphere loud and quirky. unfortunately we had to wait for an hour before the first court stood on the table (and were constantly a little clumsy toned). for me personally too loud and hectic, but for other guests maybe cool, new and hip. tables inside and outside

the restaurant is located directly on the rosenthaler square in mitte. with good weather you can also sit outside on the street, otherwise inside in beautiful modern ambiente. the unusual e at this restaurant is: classic German dishes are served in small portions for sharing (like tapas) - all at a decently good level. If you eat several of these portions as a common dish, it can become relatiw expensive, but for that you have good quality and variety. the service is professional and friendly. a restaurant to come back.

when I first received the invitation, I was excited and when it turned out that we actually had a connection to one insider, I was even more enthusiastic. unnecessary to say that we enjoyed an evening of perfect service. by the person who greets them. on the door, to the servants and the bartender, which everyone was amazing tonight. I love to occasionally return to my culinary roots, especially in relation to another approach than oversized and heavy dishes such as black bones (not to get wrong, I love black bones, but I also love interchangeable “taster-size” dishes a lot! so peterpaul presented a great offer to my connection. I visit Berlin every few weeks and I've not written a review for a while as I'm used to my normal restaurants. However this place is a real find and could be a twice in a week visit, which is unusual. It is German Tapas which sounds stupid but it's not. The service first of all was friendly and professional. The food is great and I've eaten at Michelin Star restaurants that were not as good as this. Such a variety and cooked to perfection. If I had one negative and that would be the price of the wine. Just wish restaurants in general would be more realistic about the prices, but it's a common problem I find. However I guess I'll drink less on my next visit, and eat more...

Lovely big smart room on Torstrasse. Friendly welcoming staff & good music. Liked the vibe & the look of the place - plenty of space between tables too. Classy refined taps versions of German cuisine with some unusual touches. Sauerbraten, Konigsberger Klopse & a few other favourites are here along with some very cheffy combinations. We loved all of it but I particularly loved the black pudding with green apple, crispy onions & mash. Pearl barley risotto with peach was great as was the salmon fish fingers with lemon sour cream sauce. The Braised swede, buttermilk orange sauce, Pumpernickel dish was superb. Pea soup also very good. Some dishes worked better than others but there were so many...
