"when I first received the invitation, I was excited and when it turned out that we actually had a connection to one insider, I was even more enthusiastic. unnecessary to say that we enjoyed an evening of perfect service. by the person who greets them. on the door, to the servants and the bartender, which everyone was amazing tonight. I love to occasionally return to my culinary roots, especially in relation to another approach than oversized and heavy dishes such as black bones (not to get wrong, I love black bones, but I also love interchangeable “taster-size” dishes a lot! so peterpaul presented a great offer to my connection. fantastic food, wine and service, it was an experience and the dishes were a reinterpretation of German cuisine

The concept and the service are both good. The cuisine is ok but nothing spectacular, the upside is that you get to taste several dishes tho. But overall for me, the prices are way to high for the food itself.

beautiful place with very attentive service and amazing German kitchen. they call it German tapas, so make sure to order some of these fresh quality and well prepared menu items. we loved it and will be back. go there, even if you think you don't like German food.

I have booked through one of the online sites. the menu was excellent. a combination of traditional German dressed tapas style often made with a small whirl. perfectly cooked and presented. the service was top class and made us so welcome. not hastened, but not...long very recommended for something delicious different!

We had a dinner. The owner was friendly and welcoming, we got a very good pale ale beer at the bar. Then some german tapas which were very good. There's a very good atmosphere, not to loud but cheerful. Prices are a bit more than...average but still not expensive. I guess the portions could be some more bigger. The oxetail soup was very good.

Lovely intimate restaurant serving superb tapas. (About the only way to get my wife to try some of the more unusual German food). Very friendly and attentive service and a good selection of carafe wines. It was a bit empty, partly because of COVID, which...was unfortunate, because there was a very loud fellow Brit whose voice really carried. But that’s not the restaurant’s fault! Would go back.

This was our first trip to Germany and we were keen to try a selection of German foods so this restaurant seemed a perfect option. This restaurant is based around small, sharing plates (like tapas). We tried so many! meatballs, cured pork, chicken, beef roulade...and fish all nice depending on personal preference. Atmosphere and interior were nice and sophisticated. The place had a nice buzz without being too noisy. Much better inside then outside!

We came without a reservation and were very lucky to get a table after waiting at the bar for a little while. The atmosphere was wonderful. Like a private home with art on the walls, music albums on the shelves and cosy decor. And the...tapas were great! We shared the oxtail soup, the beef roulade, the crisp chicken in buttermilk and the mashed potatoes. All was very tasty! And so was the cheese cake with which we ended our dinner. Definitely worth going here!
