"This place is a hidden gem. It has a spacious outdoor patio as well as cozy indoor seating. Although we waited a bit long for our food (nearly 45 min) when it wasn't very busy, the food was worth the wait. Delicious oversized prawns, the risotto surprising you with a flavorful wine sauce, and the excellent service you'd expect from fine dining. I would recommend it, just be sure to have extra time to eat and bring friends for the time to pass quickly!"

"Actually a great place. Wanted to order a cheeseburger (14€ and fries (4€ but then a portion of ketchup should cost (2€ . Am I the only one who sees this as overpriced? A sauce for the burger with fries is that too much to ask? Maybe something can be done here...... I would be happy! I left when I saw the card with the prices........ "I had the good fortune to be in Baden for the first time in 3 years and had to return to el Gaucho. A beautiful restaurant in the centre of town with excellent and patient service. A big choice of cuts are available from different countries and I love the seasonal sides. The humitas are my all-time favourite. There's a good choice of wines and deserts. Prices are good, especially so given the locality. I wish I lived closer."
