"we thought it was time that four years ago opened patagonia in the mainzer neustadt to test. the bus and tram connection is excellent, the parking situation is very difficult. there is an outside area at the restaurant, and the dining room is large and clear. because the guests were distributed outside and inside, the reservation about opentable would not have been necessary. so we were allowed to choose a table and were welcomed by the two ladies in the service friendly. we found a rectangle with a view of a large flatscreen, on which a diashow of pictures ran from patagonia, which first triggered television. steaks are offered in all variations, and the selection is quite difficult. we first took three empanadas with different fillings that relatiw quickly came out of the kitchen and taste very good.My wife decided in the main course for a rumpsteak of the even medium rare with grill potatoes and salad. I had previously researched the card in the internet and asked myself what a flap steak was. wikipedia helped and so I knew it was a cut that is very common in patagonia and comes very close to the us sirloin strip. I wanted to try this and ordered it **** in the bloom. I took a foil potato. both supplements were handed with the obligatory sourcream with coriander. the two supplemental salads were fresh, colourful and crisp, with the carrots also liked as a supplement. Even with critical consideration, the performance was in all respects of expectations: the services were extremely friendly and stood also in the meat selection with rat and did the side. the we chose to be perfectly met. confusingly I found the hints in the menu on the recommended per steak. these were all together and especially between medium and well done. that was not comprehensible for me because of the top quality of meat, all in all a very successful evening with a quite reasonable price-performance ratio. we like to come back to patagonia."

"the restaurant has tables in the open and in the interior, but although it is a bit warm, we decided to have a table in the interior, as we could enjoy the architecture and the beautiful relaxing and romantic atmosphere with gentle light and candles on the numerous tables. the menu is also available in English language and besides the fixed orientation there was a seasonal menu with lighter dressing. besides binding beer we have made from the solid food card wildbow sausage or bratwurst with sprinkled onions accompanied by potato puree and mustard, all served on a wooden board, and from the summer card a vegan strudel made of lenses, tomatoes and vegetables with a basilikum sauce. really generous portions, absolutely a single dish. all very tasty, even the brot was really good. Faster and accommodating service: when accidentally a huge chop came on the table, they immediately apologized and made the mistake again good by bringing the chosen dish. Perhaps the prices are a bit above the average, but at such a particular location there are them."

"We went for a lunch get-together with friends last week. Nice ambience and courteous service once again. For starters, we had samosa chat, papdi chat, veg pakodas, Singh wing chicken wings. For drinks we had lemonade (sweet nimbu paani). Starters were very good in taste...and quite big proportions. So one starter was more than enough for two persons on average. For main course we ordered butter garlic naan, lamb pav, chicken korma, chicken tikka masala and paneer masala. We liked the chicken korma and paneer masala better with the garlic naan. Freshly cut onion, green chilly and a piece of lemon was also served with the main course. The lamb pav was more like a burger to look at and served with fries and chutneys. The lamb pav was also very good in taste. Overall, we enjoyed a superb sumptuous meal with family and friends."

"we decided spontaneously to visit this restaurant. already at 19:00 clock everyone was occupied, but the waiter reserved us within 10 minutes the next free table. the service was very friendly and accommodating. we had appetizers and pizzas, all fresh and well prepared. the room is unfortunately overeaten with additional offered on chalkboards on the wall and overall looks very small. Overall however, worth a visit, even if it is somewhat more expensive."

"since most bad reviews are outdated, I would like to write an evaluation that fits the quality of this restaurant. my ordering my eating was a Miso soup and salad, 5 chicken sauces and then chicken in Cocos.For drinks I had a pino coco. price first of all, the restaurant is not too expensive for the main dishes of an average of 8 to 11 euro (including Miso soup and small salat). the total bill for 5 people was 64 euro quality and quantity the Miso soup tasted like it should not be too hot, not too cold. for it that it was included in the 9-dollar table, the somewhat smaller dish was fair. the little salate was also delicious. then the chicken, for a 4-dollar price tag for 6 wonderfully tasting, sweet chicken legs (or wings), the amount was definitiw ok. the main dish came with rice and tasted fantastic, really no negative remarks that I can make somewhere. the only thing that might not be nice for other people was that something too sweet pino coco. but if they get a non-alcoholic cocktail, get it! service the waiters were very nice and the cook made a nice impression (other than at some other places where I was in mainz). they were all asian origins as besides. so best Asian restaurant in mainz. plus: don't go to meat"

"beautiful pizzeria in Mainz-Hechtsheim. the pizzas are really great and we have never been received. However, they taste better before location than delivered as with almost all pizzerias. I prefer to eat the pizza bruschetta. the service is always friendly, but could sometimes be more on zack. the ambiente is very nice for a pizzeria. always worth a visit."

"This is such a great place for modern vegan sushi. They only have a single item marked as vegan (which is the vegan surprise sharing platter for two for 35 EUR), but this is a good hint, because it is absolutely the item you should get here. (You can also order a half platter for 17.50 EUR, which you can also share and which is great for a light meal for two The sushi is quite modern, very inventive and really nicely presented. We were here in asparagus season and got some sushi based on that: Some deep-fried, some marinated, all with their unique sauces and all very nicely arranged on the platter. The portion is also quite filling and absolutely worth the money. They also have great teas to drink, I really recommend their Sencha tea. Again, everything is nicely presented in hand crafted ceramic cups."

"Having been back to Germany for a vacation of four weeks, we just had to return for a dinner at Mediterraneo in Mainz because my wife and I loved this restaurant and its Mediterranean Cuisine from the very start. This time we met friends there...as well, having made a date with them for dinner, and again we loved our stay at Mediterraneo very very much. Excellent meals, nice selection of wines, the wonderful atmosphere and the absolutely friendly and competent service made our dinner to be one of the culinary highlights of our stay in Mainz. I had wonderful gnocchi, absolutely fresh, and the restaurant's vitello tonnato as well, of course, which I love so much. Needless to say we pass on plenty of compliments to the chef in the kitchen as well. Those people know how to run a good restaurant, and Mediterraneo is a marvellous restaurant indeed. I do highly recommend this beautiful restaurant to foodies like me, to the gourmets in Mainz and from elsewhere. It's such a good place where to sit and dine with the ones you love. Being back in Germany next year, where are we going to eat again shortly after our arrival? Exactly, you got it."

"the bürgerhof is my intention after the second best schnitzellokal in gonsenheim behind the golden eagle. here they have the choice between many, partly exotic carvings, all taste very good and are at a good price considering which huge portions are served. besides in the regular two large carvings per order, the customer will also receive a small bowl with pommes frites or optionally bratkartoffeln, as well as a not exactly small supplemental salad. but also friends of other meat dishes are not wrong here. the last is great, comes from me just to get out of the floor a star because there are better alternatives."

"I know brunos restaurant at its old location on the lerchenberg. I loved the old location with the great outdoor space to enjoy all the delicious local and international dishes. I follow him on facebook and wait every Sunday full of joy for the weekly lunch menu. this year during our trip to Germany I made this a mandatory stop to dinner. I haven't seen the new one locally yet and I wanted to try it out. I agree with most commentary, the new local is not in a typical restaurant location as it is located in the industrial area, but it had the great advantage that there was hardly any traffic and we found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. the restaurant has a great outdoor area with plenty of sitting and comfortable garden furniture. because of the cooler weather we decided to sit inside. the inner has a tasteful decor and plenty of seating for larger groups. we were immediately served by the owner bruno and had a nice table with a good view of the rest of the inner. we had luck and were personally served by bruno. the menu offers a lot of dresses that are supplemented by several day dishes. we chose a carving in cream sauce from the menu and a ragout from the specials. the food was absolutely delicious. the carving was soft as butter and had a nice crispy panad. the carved (plural) were served on the sawn sauce. I know that sounds unusual, but I really liked this part because neither the carving nor the pommes were soaked in sauce and I could enjoy the carving taste with and without sauce. I felt hard to finish it because it was a bit of food. my friend had the ragout with noodles. the presentation was very beautiful and the taste was excellent. the tenderness of the meat and the fullness of the sauce tasted like omas homemade ragout, which simmered throughout the day in a pot. we added eating with a weeping and (yes, harm to me) a Cola beer. we arrived late on Saturday night, but even after 21 o'clock, several groups of people flowed in. despite the business in the restaurant, the atmosphere was quiet and cozy and bruno continued to meet all its customers to ensure the satisfaction. overall we had an excellent time and would return more often if we were living in the opposite."

Hmm...ne, don't have to be. then the sign burgertag. my daughter loves burger, I don't. she wins. and behold, it tastes really good. the home limonade, the self-made pommes and of course the burger - super! the ambiente is nice and friendly. the service was also very good: attentive, friendly and well certified. absolutely recommended."
