"I just want to admit that I'm not a vegan, but I have reduced my consumption of meat and milk products. my partner founded her diet on vegan, so on a visit to exeter she introduced me into the plant cafe! we were warmly welcomed and found a place in the window, it was a beautiful day, so was nice, lunch with a view of the cathedrale green. I had a look through the menu and it was filled with incredible sounding feeds and drinks! I was stubborn what to choose! we decided quickly for a coffee. my goodness, the coffee was beautiful! rich in taste and I was blown away! better than a few coffee houses. we finally decided for a homity pipe. the presentation was amazing! I just couldn't wait to dig in! we had a long look around more exeter, so it was nice to finally recover and have something nice to eat. the cake was nicely light, really tasty! they get a lot of beautiful aroma, taste break for their palette. as it was a nice bite, we decided to get the carrot cake. one of the best decisions! my goodness, it's the best carrot cake I've ever tasted! the aromen were perfect, beautifully moist and also not too dry! you say that every quantity goes carefully into every dish! everything beautifully presented and prepared. I can't recommend this place enough. for everyone will not love vegan and vegan eating! incredible and beautiful workers who were very helpful and beautiful. they recognize some amazing recommendations for us, especially as our first visit. we're coming back a few points!"

Came for breakfast, ate Carrot cake and brownie and drank chai latte and coffee latte... Everything was delicious!!! They are amazing!!!

friendly, helpful staff, incredible vegan cake and a beautiful outdoor sitting area with views of the cathedrale. delicious soups, salads, tart packs etc. ideal for breakfast, brunch or lunch on cold or warm days. my only wish is that they were open for Sunday brunch!

I ate lunch here last week and was quite satisfied with my salad mixture for takeaway and my small butternut squash pie. Really nice flavour combination for lunch. Love that free tap water is offered and blankets to sit out on the lawn. Friendly staff. Also loved the seed, fruit and nut bar: dense but not too sweet and no extra sugar.

First time in the plant cafe today and had a REALLY lovely, healthy and delicious vegan lunch, including incredible beetroot and raspberry cake! Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and I was impressed with the service, menu and general experience, especially given that the current owners have only been running plant for the last six weeks. A visit to Exeter does not seem to be complete without visiting the Plant Cafe. We went to the cake this time, especially as the vegan cake choices are so good. This time, 6 of the 8 cakes were vegan. Each daughter had the beetroot and raspberry cake, delicious, and I had the gluten-free peanut butter and chocolate cookie, so peanut butter. We also think they do the best Chai Lattes. A beautiful treat to restore our energy levels for more shopping. If you have not been, go anyway like their breakfast, lunch and treats are all amazing.
