"What a treat! In early June my husband and I were searching for a restaurant recommended by our hotel. Thank goodness we did not find it!. As we were searching, a nice local woman recommended Poseidon...Excellent! we felt the warm welcome the minute we walked in. Vasili greeted us and immediately led us to his wife Maria and son Christos who took great care of these 2 strangers from the USA.All of our food was wonderful but my huge Sea Bass was excellent! I had been wanting some sea food and this was the perfect place! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and we were even given a complimentary cordial at the end of our meal.If you ever get to visit beautiful Bamberg don't miss Poseidon! It is near the theater and an easy walk from the Hotel Bamberger Hof where we were staying."

Hier braucht man nicht viel zu schreiben außer - dieser Grieche verdient das Prädikat"Wertvoll" und dies in jeder Hinsicht.Überzeugen Sie sich doch selbst und Sie werden begeistert sein.

War bisher noch nie dort, habe jetzt eine Wissenslücke geschlossen. Von aussen recht unscheinbar, aber der Service und das Essen war sehr gut. Ich werde dieses Lokal wieder besuchen. Weiter so!

Sehr uriges Ambiente, schneller und freundlicher Service und sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Kleiner Abzug nur, da das überbackene Gyros leider mit Gouda und nicht mit Feta überbacken wurde. Sonst gab es nichts zu meckern.

Wir waren schon das ein oder andere Mal im Poseidon, werden aber nicht mehr hingehen. Wir haben den Eindruck das die Qualität des Fleisches stark schwankt. Das geht einher, mit dem Service, der ebenfalls schon das ein oder andere mal muflfig oder unfreundlich war.Da es bei anderen Griechen auch schmeckt und das Poseidon keine beosnderen Spezialitäten hat, gehen wir künftig lieber woanders hin...

Strolling down the streets of Bamberg, stumbled on this fabulous family restaurant. The food is delicious and very comforting. Servings are sumptuous. Ouzo is great. Both Vasili and Maria are extremely friendly and take very good care of their customers. Their sons now are also doing a very good job. Their personal touch, care and warmth is incomparable, which is missing in most good restaurants.

Wir waren zu zweit an einem Freitag Abend dort. Zum Glück haben wir vorher reserviert, da es recht voll war. Beim betreten des Lokals wurden wir trotz des großen Andrangs herzlich empfangen und zu unseren Plätzen geführt. Sofort kam eine gut gelaunte Bedienung und überreichte uns die Speisekarte. Getränke & Essen wurden ratz fatz serviert. Alles war super lecker und auch das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmte. Zusammenfassend kann man sagen, wer in Bamberg ist und gerne griechisch Essen möchte ist im Restaurant Poseidon bestens aufgehoben. Ganz klar zu empfehlen +++++
