Classy, well decorated Greek restaurant with excellent Greek food, nice selection of wines and friendly on time service. Highly recommended!

This was a real surprise, a Greek restaurant, in Bavaria with an authentic menu, food and service. We just chose from the cold and warm mezze dishes, which were excellent and from a good choice. The service and value were equally excellent.

We had an excellent lunch here on a recent trip and were very impressed with the quality of the food and service. We dined in their shaded courtyard which was very pleasant and comfortable. With quite a few local customers the atmosphere is convivial and...well away from the tourist crowd.

This is an amazing place. Could be NY here. Food is astounding… no words. Wine is amazing… recommend amethystos. During the summer months you can sit outside. My biz partners say it’s like an vacation every summer. I have been coming here for years....We will never change our location. Tony

Great restaurant in a good location, really good choice of food, I’m fairly picky but struggled to make a choice as I had so many tempting options. It’s reasonably priced and excellent quality. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Can’t really fault it, give it...a visit if you find yourself in Augsburg.

Poseidon is a restaurant with great food and a nice, bright atmosphere. They offer tap beer and (Greek) wine. Both meat and seafood dishes are delicious. Unlike many Greek restaurant in Germany, they offer well prepared meals, not only huge greasy and salty amounts of...meat. Home delivery avaialbe via an online platform (charges apply).

We ordered one simple gyros and a poseidon plate, so that we can have an ideea of the basic foods they serve. The rice was old, you could taste that immediatly. Too much meat for each portion and the quality of it was poor. It...had a lot of stuff that you could not chew. The tzatziki was warm the youghurt they used for it, was very acid. For the prices they have, and the location, i expected much more. I do not reccomand

Our hotel restaurant looked antiseptically dead so we went here and are very glad we did. The young man waiter spoke good English and seated us at a great table. We split taramousalata as an appetizer followed by Grilled squid and a grilled seafood platter...all of which were very good. The wine is only Greek and we were very apprehensive but the waiter recommnbeded one that turned out to be very good called Cyrus One. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal.

We were thrilled to find this restaurant on a trip to Augsburg. We were tired of the heavy German food. It was a warm summer night and we were able to sit outside on the garden terrace in a very private courtyard off the main...street. The food and service were outstanding. We liked the Greek wine and were pleasantly surprised with it. All of our food was excellent, especially the cold seafood salad and the marinated giant beans. The dessert of halva ice cream was also wonderful.
